The mix has been from any of the following games now that all of the correct licenses have been procured:

Limit Holdem
Omaha-8
Razz
Stud/8
Stud High Only
Badugi
2-7 Triple Draw
Razzdugi
Badeucy
PLO
No Limit Holdem
I think that's all of them, but I may have forgotten one or two.

Oceans doesn't have a lowball license unfortunately, so no A-5 lowball games, which means no Archie. Archie sounds like a super fun game.

Going to be out here for about 1.5 weeks, used to live out here so played a good bit here. Does the 8-16 still get started pretty early every weekday? I know the 4-8 used to run mostly 24/7 but this was in like 2004-07. Not sure how LHE is doing these days there but it used to be solid and full kill so always fun.

4/8 limit is the worst game in oceans. 8/16 run on weekend, (I know it is not run on Monday and possibly Wednesday?)

Seems like LHE is running sparingly in the room, 20/40 mix runs twice a week and O8 seems to run. Otherwise it's all NL

Is this room worth a visit just for an evening for someone who plays 1/2 and 2/5 NLHE and PLO? We'll be in Del Mar for Breeders' Cup week and might make the drive one evening. Heading to Vegas soon after, though, so if Oceans Eleven isn't worth the trip we won't bother.

it's a short trip from del mar and there's ample 2/3 (300 max) and 2/5 (1500 max) action, you can check their board on PokerAtlas.

only reason i can think of why you'd end up regretting it is if traffic sucked. the room is no vegas, but it's nice.

As a 2/5, 5/5 LA/Vegas player. I went to Oceans 11 for the first time last night on a Wednesday and the 2/3 400 max was a pretty decent game. Most players were just rec players trying to have fun. The 5/5 game broke off when i got there but that game seemed to play more like 5/5/T.

I think its worth your time to check out. Super great location right off the freeway.

Heading to O11 next weekend to play the 2/3 Big O and the 5/5 if it runs. Does anyone play in those games? Any info?

Yes, all the time. The $2/3 Big O game runs pretty much every day. Very rocky. Most are regs waiting for 123 hands.
The $5/5 Big O/PLO mix usually runs Friday nights and can get big if the right action players are in the lineup.

There is a Big O/PLO tournament on Sunday 03/22 at 2pm at Oceans 11 casino in Oceanside Ca.

Buy-in: $350. Starting stack: $15k in chips. 30 minute rounds.
Unlimited re-buys first four rounds.
Purse is est. $20k.
