No food at 8/16
Card scan is for the "rake back" promo, which is called racing for dollars.

Hmm, I was almost certain when I played there for a few days 2 years ago I got something; not free food, but after I played one day, the next day I printed out something which gave me maybe $1 an hour credit or something for the the previous day towards food. I guess they could have dropped it, but that would suck.

Certain days of the week, for games that aren't comped, 4 hours gets you the nights special I believe.

" Thanks,if anyone knows the current promos, please post. "

You might try downloading the app " Poker Near Me. " it offers lots of useful information about the card rooms near where you live. This also includes current promotions as well as the phone number to call for the specific casino that you have questions about.

Has anyone noticed any changes since Doug Dalton was hired as Executive Host?
Particularly wondering if they are going to make any effort to get more bigger games going again.

Also curious, does Oceans 11 have prop players?

Yes they have props
Haven't noticed any differences in games, but heard a radio spot for the first time since I moved here last year. Was on xx1090
Maybe after the series when everyone is back in town.
Be nice to get a 40 mix going or soemthing

Do you know much about the props? Like how many they have, on what shifts, what games they play, etc.? If you don't want to post about it here but want to send me a PM that would be great too.

How is the low stakes LHE/NLHE action here? I will be driving down to San Diego from LA tomorrow and I have some hours to kill. I'm either going to play at Commerce and endure horrible LA traffic on my way out of town or beat the rush and play at Ocean's. From what it sounds like this is a nicer room, but with much tougher tables.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your time at Ocean's and find a number of games to suit you. It's a nicer room than the LA rooms.

The lower stakes NLHE is generally a tougher crowd then most casinos but it's beatable.

They've got people that play 400 hours in a month?

Not monthly (til the money runs out and then resets at 500k) and I believe some people cash in a couple times during the promo.

No. This is not a monthly promotion. It runs until the $500,000 pool is dried up.

Well, at least it isn't stock full of 2+2 players (or they don't come here often) .. though I swear I saw Gonzo there...

Always willing.
Usually end up at Palomar to play PLO unless I know for sure a game will go, namely Fridays.
Wish I knew what happened to all the LHE guys. When I first moved here last year seemed like 20 went most nights and the 40 Friday thru the weekend.

Got a 3-4 handed game both Saturday and Sunday. Need to figure out a way to organize it better than randomly going around the room asking people to play.

Which game are you talking about?

When / how often have the 20/40 or 40/80 games been going recently?

We had a 20/40 one day and 40/80 the next.
