Same -- probably arriving Friday afternoon/early evening. I'll stick my name on the 2/5 list even if I end up heading to the Borgata to hopefully try to get them to spread it.

Kinda obnoxious that they waited til they had 12 names last weekend, and then took 20 minutes to get it going.

I played 2-5 on Friday night into Saturday morning. First time playing in this poker room. I enjoyed the game, players, and atmosphere. Going in, I was curious to see how it would be considering the "room" is on the casino floor. Overall, noise wasn't too bad and I thought it created a more festive experience. Waitress service was great although that probably led to me getting involved in a couple of hands that I shouldn't have. Even though I lost a bit, it was a fun night and I'm looking forward to getting there again.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday, but I am interested in mix/plo.

Just out of curiosity, I saw 7 names on an HO mix last week, any thoughts on whether people are locked onto those games or if people would play triple draw or badugi or others? I strongly prefer the draw games because I so rarely get to play them.

I was actually surprised -- I was getting Sunday-Fridays over the summer, but now I'm just getting Sunday-Thursdays. Played a comparable amount of pit games throughout the year since starting to come here in late March. Anyone else see their offers decline for September/October?

Good point, after the kiddies go back to school has always meant in this town winter rules go into effect so to show an attempt to maintain a plus margin, there must be some scaling back on generosity, cash back will be a causality and with that the player base who live on hours and rewards.

Other houses offer this amenity and the smart player will scout out the best deals.The GNAC has a generous offering for hours played as well as tier point multiplier look around and see where your play benefits you, but it looks like the Ocean has put a nail in it.

i think it's more than a nail, a couple of dealers said the poker room is CLOSING October 1st, September is the last month they will be open, then the high limit slots are moving into the poker area. Hopefully it will be like when revel closed and they gave all the promo money away.

shame, the room was decent.
