I've noticed there is no thread for Nottingham on here despite one of the best poker venues in the country (DTD) being located there.

I'm an online CG player thinking of giving live play a shot and was wondering if any 2p2ers play in the cash games at DTD or at Alea?

Post itt if you have any insight on the games at either venue that you're happy to share.

Both places filled to the brim with fish though I prefer Dusk to alea personally.

Sounds good. I'm guessing D2D is a much better venue but I'd expect Alea. To be more fish heavy as it is right in the centre of town and has table games so will attract clueless drunks whereas D2D is out of town and primarily a poker venue. Would be great if D2D games are just as soft though as I'd much rather play there.

Does the DC game at Alea still run?

I used to deal at DTD and Grosvenor (used to be Gala, a lot of people still call it Gala)

Can confirm it still runs went in the other day and game was running.

I was playing it a fair bit last year. Packed it in to pay for other things. Hopefully will be back there this summer.

Still on a Tuesday night or other nights now? I know they did it up so maybe it got more popular?

i'm looking for micro home games in the area, preferably mixed games/dealers choice, preferably with people open to the idea of fixed limit
