Yeah, i know what you mean. There is for sure a decline going on, i just dont think its as bad as we think. Casino can be busy during the week and poker can be super bad, 2-3 tables. But it is the slowest time of the year, winter.

The room is dead because it is the worst run poker room in North America. Save yourself the aggravation and drive across the bridge to Seneca. The staff will appreciate you being there (they are relatively friendly and courteous), and the games are more plentiful and diverse. Fallsview is basically the DMV of poker rooms.

I was there on halloween and made a killing. My tabls was soo weak tight, and play so obvious when they have a big hand. Saturday nights at that table i literally just crushed. Are the 2/5 on a saturday even better?

No Friday night and Saturday night are the softest games possible. I guess you were play LAG against rocks, which works if you gobble up a bunch of orphan pots. The average reg sees what you are doing but never has the balls to try and stop you. I do this all the time on short tables....

The good news is that Fallsview has reinstated the 50¢/hour reward for poker players. I wished I had been swiping my "Players Advantage Club" card since this change, as I would have used it for Ponte Vecchio Fine Italian Dining by now.

As I was swiping out after the WPT Fallsview satellite wars were done for the night, the friendly brush asked me if I had swiped in. I asked what's the point since all Fallsview management gives poker players is free parking. He then informed me of the reward reinstatement, so I will swipe in every time now.

Good news for Seneca Niagara 1/2 players the annoying 100 max game seems to be going the way of the Dodo and the new default game is the 200 max. The games in the evening were even crazier than they were when it was 100 max as I saw quite a few 600 dollar pots where the losing player whas clueless to the fact he needed a miracle to win the pot. Some of the Thing like regulars were whining about the game being deeper but that logic makes no sense as you can just buy in for 100 if you don't want to start playing deeper.

I don't know how much thought is going into it, but I heard that they MAY be considering the 2/5 game going to a 1k max or 500 min.

Not sure about that change, but I can verify that 200 max is the prevalent game now for 1-2 players. Those who normally play the 200 max at Casino Niagara should be excited to hear that now have more options...

Posting in here so I don't forget to read through it later.

But, anyone here unfortunate enough to actually live in Niagara (Canada)?
If so, reach out to me, brother.

Is there a poker room in the casino in downtown Buffalo or do I have to travel to the falls to play poker?

IIRC, you've got to travel to the Falls for poker.

There is no poker in the downtown one, only in the falls.
