I was surprised to see a lot of dolts at the $500. (Chicks busting me with JTo while calling all in for over 25% of stack lol)

158 today... Thursday is a tough day of the week for a lot of people who work. Anticipating at least 150 or more for the main. Satellites were hopping last night...

The last $300 event got 101. Not horrible. I finished 8th, sigh

Look for the next one in the late part of winter...(usually Feb/Mar in the past) The winter tournaments, weather permitting, usually draw slightly bigger crowds, being in the heart of tax season. Start planning now!

I played the Friday 300 , only one buy in and busted out 21st , it paid 18...!!! I was damn pissed...

Yeah I did enjoy it. I love playing tournaments, and it was good experience. Figured first 3 weeks of me being 21 and I final tabled twice isn't too bad but the variance hasn't kicked in yet lol.

I look forward to those tournaments. I like playing with 100+ people, and I love large starting stacks. So I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Saturday on the 1-2 100max... The only known reg on the table was "the candyman", who also won a $200 satellite that night to play a little bit in the main event Sunday. Those who see all the candy bars on the rail know who "the candyman" is...

Is the 1/2 $100 max game at Seneca beatable with such small starting stacks?

I am looking for a safe way to build up my bankroll of $1500. I was thinking of trying to play the $100 max game until I got up to $4000.

I have better postflop skills than the average 1/2 player so playing deeper I would have a bigger edge but I am assuming that the players at the $100 max game are even worse than a normal 1/2 player.

Can anyone comment on the skill difference between the two games and whether or not they think it is a good idea to try and build a roll starting at the $100 max game?

Obviously I know my risk of ruin is high and I am gonna need to run good regardless of what game I play.

I prefer 200 Max, but it is tougher than the 100 Max. 100 Max IS beatable, granted the rake is a little high for a 50bb table but it is what it is.

You need to be patient. Top pair decent kicker is usually good at these tables, but may get cracked by an inside straight draw or something.

The main thing is not getting frustrated by the dolts, and embrace them.

Does the 5/10 at fv run only fri/sat?

I played it last night, and their was only 1 table of 5/10, I was planning on staying for Sunday as well but the regs said the 5/10 never runs on Sunday, is this true?

yeah thats pretty much the case. sunday afternoon 5/10 is rare

Are O8 games ever run on either side?

O8 used to run on Fridays at Seneca. not sure if it still does. id call the poker room and check before you headed out
