I'm pretty sure it did. Quad 6s again I think. But not 100% positive.

Advice on whether to play at Fallsview or CN?

What stakes do you want to play?

For $1/$2 NL, go to Casino Niagara. For $2/$5 NL and above, go to Fallsview.

If you're not willing to take one of the Fallsview buses available from downtown Toronto, why not just go to Woodbine in Toronto? Woodbine has terrible procedures with their SNGs, but their $5 max rake cash games with no tipping are okay.

I may be driving to the casinos almost daily starting Monday, but with the murder of a father "just going for a ride" in the GTA this year, it's inadvisable for me to offer a stranger a ride, and for you to accept one from me! Good luck.

I live on the prairies, where guys get their heads cut off on buses. Predicament for sure. What's woodbine like?

It's glorified online poker played in person, but due to lack of suitable alternatives nearby it's the best you're going to get.

Ive been search for those shuttle buses from Toronto. Do I have to pre register to get on? Can I go on any return bus or do I have to specify when I leave for Niagara which one ill be returning on? Lastly, is Showtime the only company running these shuttles?

Google is your friend - http://www.fallsviewcasinoresort.com/getting-here/bus. Then phone the bus company with all your specific questions.

May have been posted before, but have heard way too many conflicting things in the last couple days.

Can someone confirm what happens with withholding tax and whatnot if a canadian binks a tourney at seneca? 30% seems to be the magic number but I've heard it's completely unrecoverable, partially recoverable and fully recoverable many times.

When I played a satellite there and won the seat, Seneca forced me to pay 30% out of the seat value in cash! The runner-up to the seat was a local scumbag who tried to exploit the situation further by telling me to donate my prize to him so he would play for me.

When a Canadian min-cashes, Seneca robs them 30% of their min-cash so we lose money despite cashing! This is why it is so idiotic to buy into any Seneca tournament when there are many decent tournaments in Ontario with rake as low as 3.6%-5% and we get to pocket 100% cash of our winnings.

Pretty sure that 30% is recoverable most of the time

The 30% is recoverable, and the do NOT withhold 30% on the value of a satellite seat. The argument seems to be when the 30% should be withheld. In Vegas, the magic number seems to be when you win $5000+. Many Canadians will still play the $1500 main event at Seneca coming up in November for the reason that if they cash, there is a chance they'll be winning an amount close to that anyways.

It's obviously been years since you've played a satellite at Seneca. They are no longer taxed.
