Also, the action on several of the 2-5s, outside of maybe the original regs that start the first of 3, sometimes 4 2-5NL games of the day has picked up significantly over the past several months. Several players that travel back and forth between the boarder casinos have mentioned that Fallsview has been on the decline recently as far as action goes. Do what you would like, but Seneca Niagara>Fallsview/Casino Niagara
Locals that are Canadians all play at Seneca Niagara. Even some Toronto people that found out about the casino come down too. It's the drunken Toronto fish or out of town people that make Fallsview or to a lesser extent Niagara.

Prolly heading to casino niagara tomorrow during the day if border traffic isn't awful. What's the best time to cross? And how's the action on sundays?

Games can be good on a Sunday....bridge times at Peace probably aren't bad. You can download the peace bridge app if you have a Iphone or Andriod and it tells you wait times at each of the Niagara Bridges.

Are games at Seneca wilder on Sundays or Saturdays or Friday nights? Obviously this is just your opinion. I have never played on Saturday there but have played at Niagara years ago.

What day(s)? I'm guessing Saturday and Sunday? Sunday games have more real fish from the few times I have been down there.

Hi everyone. I play at Seneca Niagara on the US side once a week or so. I like it a lot. Waiting for the 200 max is annoying but like a few others said, 50bb just isn't my cup of tea. From what I've noticed, everyone plays very standard. 3-bets almost always mean QQ+, raises are made hands, occasionally people spazz out and give you all there money which is aweosme!

I usually play on saturday nights. I would love for some of you guys to come say HI. I always wear a hoodie. Usually its brown and white. Im tall and white.

Cheers!

Are you coming from the Niagara Falls area? I'm in the middle of the triangle of Fallsview, Woodbine and Brantford. After Seneca ripped off so many Canadians with their 30% withholding rake on ANY poker tournament winnings, I will never play there again, but I wouldn't mind carpooling to a Brantford tournament or Woodbine.

We could take turns driving, or you could toss me a few pesos for gas.
It's an idea.

Hi there. I imagine there's a good chance the answer to this question is somewhere in this thread but I'm too lazy to read through it all.

Do any of the Niagara poker rooms do tournaments on a regular basis (monthly or whatever)? I know that Casino Rama used to do a tournament once a month on the third Sunday or something like that but I haven't been there in a long time.

Thanks!

Daily tournaments at Seneca niagara and every 2 months or so they have a tournament series.

Seneca also has a first Wednesday of the month that gets a bunch of runners, usually between 150-200 people at $160/person. Great cash action too.

I saw there is a $500 tourney at Seneca Niagara next Saturday. Any ideas on how many runners it will get? I did not see a guarantee listed on the website.

Has Woodbine also killed Fallsview's tables on the weekends, or is it still full with tourists and long waiting lists despite the higher session fees, terrible BBJ rake and management neglect? Having just tried Woodbine with its $5 max rake, 50+ hands/hour, no tipping and 11 tables, I can see why it will ruin the higher-rake rooms in Niagara Falls, illegal clubs and CNE Casino. Many of the Fallsview regs I remember are in Woodbine now playing 2/5+.

Woodbine's rake is very reasonable, but Fallsview has $7/hh session which is also very good. If Fallsview dealers were better, session fee would be a much better deal.

I agree BBJ is super lame. They take a dollar a flop and rake 10 cents of that. The qualifier at Falls is so low that the BBJ serves no advertising purpose either. It never gets large.

I think the main advantage of Woodbine is the short wait times during the week, and the number of hands per hour.

I used to grind at Fallsview when it was only $6 session fee for 2/5. The BBJ rake makes it more like $8/hh now. A winning grinder will make a lot more money at Woodbine's 11 tables, including 50¢ comp/hr and saving thousands of dollars in dealer tips per year.

What I'm wondering about is if Fallsview still manages to be full on weekends and Friday nights?

Friday and Saturday evening there is usually about a dozen 2/5NL games, one 5/10NL, and one 10/25NL.

The higher limit action has really died.

I actually had my first bad experience at Seneca Niagara at the poker tables. I had two female dealers act like total c@$ts about a player who didn't tip them after winning pots. It wasn't me but it wasn't professional and the way the average 1/2 100 max donk tips it all would even out anyway. I have seen donks tip 3 reds on a 300 buck pot and other donks tip a dealer a red bird when leaving their 45 minute down. So if a player stiffs them and donkeys like this tip them excessively the median should be pretty good. Thank god management at Seneca is professional or I might not want to deal with the crap you have to put up with bitter dealers.
