I have played once every year or two but just for fun. I live a little less than 20 minutes from Rockingham. May have to start grinding again.
This isn't far off from my own story, and I suspect many more like us will be coming out of the woodwork now. Time to shake off the rust and dive back in.

What's the popular consensus on the NH room with the best action? Salem, Hampton, and Seabrook are all nearly equidistant for me.
Does "Ocean Gaming" on Hampton Beach spread poker? Would be very appealing with all of the tourists and "bro" "brah" type people on the beach.

The action at The Rock is nuts. I had KK and 4-bet shoved on one guy who snap called and slammed AQ off-suit on the table like it was the nuts. This other guy 4-bet shoved 10-10 all-in preflop too. In my all my recent trips to Mohegan, I never saw any all-ins preflop, unless they were really short stacks.

Keep in mind it was probably slower than a normal Saturday due to the holiday. It's a bad first Saturday to judge normal attendance.

Any general observations on how folks are approaching the buy ins? What percentage of the $1/$2 table are just firing $150 bullets, versus those who (re)load for the table max? And it seems like most TRs have been for $1/$2, but from what you've gathered are there people at $2/$4 who come to the no cap tables with $1000+? It'll also be interesting to see if any patterns emerge in terms of the buys ins at the various rooms.

It was INCREDIBLY slow on Saturday in the room where I work (1000's of miles away from New England), so that may be a good point to consider.

I've only played NLHE twice, both were local charity tournaments.

Perhaps a better question - what's the dropoff been in the limit cash games this month? Are there now significantly more NL than limit games, more limit than NL, or close to 50/50?

Yes, would be cool if someone could give a full report on action, how full the rooms are, are more grinders showing up, etc. etc.

There is only 2/4 limit running. Ratio has been about 6 to 1 nl tp limit. 1/2 games are mostly stacks of 100 but several people rebuy immediately up to 300. The 2/4 the average buy in is between 300 and 500. The chip stack pictured above was purchased in cash for 1800 when the next biggest stack was 500. Absolutely no issue with it, some people like a stack and that's allowable.

Played at the Rock twice since NL has opened up.

Action at the rock is pretty sick as said many times before, crazy raises with half a table of callers. That being said one could put together that the games felt like they played alot bigger than 1/2.

I heard rumor of a 1/1 game being spread somewhere in NH, can anyone verify this and what the game plays like.

If it's a little less sick and more enjoyable than the wackos at rockingham it might be worth a trip.

I think The River Card Room (http://www.riverpokerroom.com/) said they would be offering 1/1. Not sure if it is actually running ever or not.

Plainridge Park doesn’t currently offer table games, but it announced this week that it had raked in $6.1 million in gambling revenue in its first week of operation, earning almost twice as much per slot machine as Twin River.

The establishment of two much bigger casinos in Massachusetts, an MGM Resorts property to be built in Springfield and a Wynn Resorts property in Everett, just 50 miles from Lincoln, will further tighten the screws on Twin River.

Meanwhile, in response to casino expansion in Massachusetts, lawmakers in Connecticut are also looking to pave the way for a new tribal casino in the north of the state along the Massachusetts border.

Taylor said the goal of Twin River is to continually be more robust than Plainridge Park. “That’s what drives our laser-like focus on customer service, our plans for a new amenity hotel on property, and now, the expanded non-smoking floor offerings,” Taylor said. “We will continue to explore ways to remain competitive in this challenging regional market.”

Does anyone have any info on the Keene Poker Room regarding how well their tourneys are run and what kind on numbers they get? I've been thinking about checking it out and just want to know if it's worth the trip.
