On the front page of the rockingham poker website (playatrock) it says:

" No Limit Cash Games Start July 1."

This is on Rockingham's webpage:

"Governor Hassan has signed HB 169 into law which will permit Table Stakes Poker in the NH charitable gaming rooms starting July 1, 2015. This will allow a player to wager up to the amount of chips in his/her possession on the table in front of them. Rockingham will offer a $1-$2 No Limit Hold-em game with a maximum chip purchase of $150 prior to each game (hand) with a maximum of $300 in purchased chips at any one time. We will also offer a $2-$4 No Limit Hold-em game with a maximum chip purchase of $150 prior to a hand but no limit on chip stacks."

Does this mean you can keep reloading every hand for $150 with no cap?

For NL you can't exceed $300 in chips on a purchase. So if you have $200 in chips you can only buy $100. That's how I interpret that. So aside from the $150 max at a time, it's the same as FW/MS, can't top off beyond $300.

It could also be interpreted as a maximum $300 stack. So if you double to $600 you have to go south?

I guess we will all find out tomorrow how it is actually applied.
If the rake isn't crazy, it could be a great game.

Looking forward to the reports.

From what I was hearing at Hampton on Sunday, the owners are pretty much all making their own interpretations of the rules so what you find at one place may be completely different from another.

I wonder if any rooms will offer mid-limit games or mix games or PLO. If Rockingham already has 4-4 limit, why not 4-8 or 6-12? Is there anything preventing them from running 2-5? aside from the 150/hand buy-in rule?

There is apparently a max $4 forced bet regulation that still applies, hence $2/$4 instead of $2/$5

So they could theoretically run a 2/4 nl game. But it'd still be a $300 cap buyin.

They already plan on doing this.

The way I'm reading it is there's no cap for the 2/4 game, could be very interesting

You're right I misread that. We'll see how long they keep that before implementing a cap.

I saw they'll be food comps for cash players as well. I'm really excited and can't wait to see how this goes.

This doesn't make sense, didn't the law they just passed get rid of the $4 max?

Got rid of the $4 max bet, but not the $4 max forced bet. Hence the $4 max blind (forced), but straddles allowed (unforced). This is only what I've heard, but it jives with what all the rooms seem to be doing.

So who is gonna give us a trip report tonight for the Rock? I have school tonight so I won't make it over there but I'm interested to hear how the first day goes.

Pretty pumped about this, depending how often the 2/4 games run I'll only be driving 15 min instead of 3 hours each way to Foxwoods for 2/5...finally no limit games in NH!

Well I am over the moon. I have not kept up much so didn't know this was happening. I don't think I have logged into this site in a decade. Played my way through college online until black Friday then basically quit because FW/MS was too long a distance and I didn't want to move. Never was much of a limit player(especially in those wild capped NH degenerate games.)

I have played once every year or two but just for fun. I live a little less than 20 minutes from Rockingham. May have to start grinding again.

LOL New England. The part about each room interpreting a very fundamental gaming reg differently...that just would not happen anywhere else.

It sounds like every room is interpreting it the same, they're just implementing different games (1/1, 1/2, 2/4) and caps ($300, $500, etc), which is far from unusual in the casino world.

They're seating the 1st (ever!?) 2-4nl table at Rockingham now (~7pm). Loo like several tables of 1-2nl running at the moment.
