So the mask mandate ends today in NH. I guess it's up to individual establishments/businesses to determine their mask policy.

Curious what the various poker rooms will do. Any reports to changes in policy would be appreciated.

Nashua local govt is keeping a mask mandate in place, so BBCC will still be requiring masks

Keene mask mandate is in place too.

Anyways, May 8 NH is going to allow ten at a poker table. So 9 handed is coming.

It’s stupid. What’s the point at this stage? I don’t know of a home game in the past year that Covid didn’t ravage through nearly taking one player. Yet, in casino poker rooms with masks we haven’t seen outbreaks. Coincidence?

It really depends on what you mean by “home game”. I know of professional home gains with just as good record as major casinos.

I heard 7 handed Chasers and Filitimo with masks optional now...

BBC still masks as city mandate, no longer state.

Hey can anybody give me the lowdown on Filotimo tournaments? I'm gonna try and shoot up there tomorrow for their tuesday 50/50/50, but I read somewhere that the tournament fills up early in the afternoon, before it starts?

I got there yesterday at 4:30 and was the 78th person registered for the 5:30 tournament. They did ten tables of 9, which they filled by about 5:15, and started selling alternate tickets. Total of 114 runners.

That's interesting. Safe to say that's $5/10 fixed limit, not big bet.
Drawmaha seems more appropriate for a home quarters game (I'm actually surprised they're allowed to spread that in NH) , but otherwise it sounds like a good mix.

Yeah. 5/10 FL, my bad, with full-kill depending on discussions with the commission ($10 max forced bet in new hampshire so while 10/20 FL is legal, some suit could get confused and report the game and it would be a pain. So we are just formalizing it all).

I'm not sure about other rooms, but Billiards has been green lit to spread Drawmaha FL and it's very fun.

I've played Pot Limit at home games (And it's wild!) but FL plays very well.
