There is now a $5 bring-in
For purposes of calculating pot the small+big = $5 (before they would equal $6). So if UTG pots it is $15 to call. If UTG limps for $5, UTG+1 pots for $20 to call and so on. Straddle is still $5.
Hearing there are going to be high hands every day in April and that Omaha will be part of the Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday high hands (must flop it, either $500 for one hour or $1500 for two hours)
Also there will now be two Omaha bad beats. A progressive which starts at $10k, increases $1k every Friday and has a straight flush minimum qualifier (40% losing hand, 20% winning hand, 40% split by all other players dealt in). The other bad beat is always $1k (70% losing hand, 30% winning hand) and has a qualifier of any quads (must be pocket pair).
That last one is kinda sick if you ask me. Not uncommon to have $2-5k in front of a few players. Lose KKKK to AAAA for $5k and get a $700 promo while the guy stacking your $5k gets another $300 for the beat!
