Hampton Falls
HH 1k hourly yesterday

packed them in
if you weren't there by 12:30 it took hours to be seated

upstairs filled every table going
6-7 cash games going down stairs as well

I left at 6pm the place was still rocking
anyone stay till close???
still jam packed?

looked like good games going,
not the short stacked HH bingo group short-stacking for a HH

These promos are the bane of my existence. I'm still convinced people think it's free money rather than money taken off the tables. If Hampton didn't have the tournaments, or conversely, if Chasers HAD tournaments, HF would be out of business. Their know-nothing owner let Chasers take 80% of their customers.

Fortunately Encore will have none of this crap.

The few times I've played 1-2 during these promos it goes like this:

Table is full of people that look like they also play bingo.
1. Look at cards
2. Figure out if it's possible to make the high hand
3. Yes? Limp. No? Fold.
4. Look at flop, repeat step 2.
5. After the hand is over, everyone talk about how they almost had the high hand.

Not that fun. The action guys who play higher have zero interest in these promos. I'd rather the room cater to them than someone who comes in 2 times a month for high card bingo.

normally I agree 100% with you I hate HH promo's
but maybe because its just before xmas
money was flowing
sure couple of bad tables bum hunting HH
but the 5 people I spoke with all made money and said $$$$ were flowing even at $1-2 there were some 1k stacks on several tables
several stacks over 2k at the $2-5 tables and I left before the after work crowd came in

Guessing he was on this coast for Christmas, but who knows.

I’ve heard he has some friends he’s remained in contact with from school who live in the Boston area he visits occasionally.

He’s definitely played at Chasers once or twice before too.
