Thanks! Mainly a 1/2 player. Any comment on the type of players? Chain smoking nits? Aggro donks? mixed bag?

Fair snug on the nittier side in my opinion(coming from a nit). Not sure on the chain smoking as they are non smoking place and would have to go outside. Usually older players. I suppose some aggros could exist but no tegularly at 1/2. Fairly straight forward game in my opinion.

The pro football effect is real, at least at Chasers. I went on Sunday right at opening and stayed until 3:30, and although the room wasn't empty it was nowhere near what I'd seen on my recent trip. And this is despite the Pats not playing until 4:30. The 5-10 game didn't start until after 2pm and there was just two 2-5 tables and one PLO table. Action was still pretty good though.

5-10 NL at Chasers seems to have a solid turnout. I’ve seen at least a table or two running every day since the max buy in went up.

Has anyone here played in any of those games/known anyone who has? If so, what’s the action like? What are some of the biggest pots/stacks you’ve seen?

Also, action at Chasers was crazy today. Hi-Hand Thursday. All tables full and a waitlist of 33 people at 1-2 at 2 PM today.

It's busy all the time. I'd love to go up after work on thursdays but there's no point since the lists are jammed. They should move this to Mon or Tue, when it's slower. Thursdays don't need any help.

Yes — easily 10 or more tables. Probably a handful of 1-2, a few 2-5, one or two 5-10 and some PLO games too.

Chasers is having a big promo on Saturday the 27th. They've been cryptic about what exactly it is, but I was told a giveaway every 30 minutes and get there early. I think I'll go grab breakfast at that diner next door and be there before noon.

Its a good promo for people like you who have never played there. I assume these giveaways were intended to be a “customer appreciation” type of thing. I really hope people who have played there a lot win the prizes.
