They will have the framework built and ready to go in other states with a combined player pool.

Big business in our state will want to push this. Ofcourse the players didn't matter when Tilt/Stars were getting banned cause they werne't big business. When the Wynn?MGM etc know they will have the whole market due to regulation it will flow. I'm thinking in my lifetime so in 5-10 years it'll be an awesome marketplace and I imagine quickly combined with other states for some great online action complimenting Live games all over.
The Chairman on the Committee of Economic Development recently talked about having a sports better framework in place by the time the legislators convened for the 2019-20 session to begin discussions. In other words, sports betting will not be legal in MA anytime soon. At least not within the next 2 years.

It was actually a Saturday on labor day weekend. It may have been just my tables.

I still will go back

I would be thrilled to play in Silky's Corner.
How do we make that happen? At the Encore and Chasers...

I think Chasers would be far easier than Encore but this is an excellent idea

I can approach Mike and George at Chasers, but I don't know the people at the Encore, except for one dealer/super that has a connection.

Anyone that wants to support me, send me a PM with your name, and I'll collect more names at the tables after talking with Mike/George for their inout., If their open to the idea.

Maybe the back row at Chasers can become Silky Road!

Word on Facebook is Puck has settled everything with NH Gaming and plans to reopen at the end of September. I don’t know who the heck would go work for him after that debacle, but time will tell.

Who would want to play there and support someone who blackmails and doesn’t pay his employees?

Yes for sure. Could you even imagine the levels of corporate red tape you'd have to go to with little chance of it being approved? Local owner, local players at Cheers is the way to approach this.

Probably only the 8 players at a 1/2 game fighting over the $600 hourly HH. There is a zero percent chance of this room succeeding under his (lack of) leadership.

I hope you meant Chasers because I would not want Silky’s name marred by being associated with Cheers. Plus Chasers has the PLO action

This. I am baffled and stupified at how anyone can support this man in any fashion after all of his lies and cons were brought to light

I spoke with George yesterday at Chasers. As soon as I mentioned Silky, he started smiling as he has good memories of him. He was very receptive to some vague ideas, and will speak with those that approve the decisions, but cautioned me on what can be done.

I'll let you all know if we need to get any group support, but if you are at Chasers, it wouldn't hurt for George (or Mike) to hear from others that they also support honoring Silky in some way especially given how he worked so long to Champion the growth of PLO in New England.

What do you guys know about Rivers Casino in Nashua ? They're not listed on the PokerAtlas app but I saw on FB that they have a BBJ and other poker offerings.

I've never seen a post about them. Are they new ? Anyone been there ?

I've been to River Casino in Nashua a few times, but not since last year. They face pretty stiff competition for the player pool from Boston Billiards, which is a ten minute drive away, to the extent that getting two whole tables running was an accomplishment for them to aspire to on a weekend night.

I can't imagine, now that BB added a whole new "poker wing" to their floorplan, that the situation has much improved since 2017, but I'd be happy to hear otherwise. I'd check them out again, but whenever I'm already humping myself all the way up from Boston to that part of the world, I just go where I know a game will be running.

Slight exaggeration, but only slight. Definetly plus EV.

Anybody got a gas leak story? That's wild. I worried about my family in Methuen, but the town's website says there's no danger there. Anyone here know why? They use a different gas company?

I woke up just as the news was breaking (I'm in Asia), really scary. I checked in with everyone I knew in the area and all was well with them. My immediate thought was some scab working National Grid during the lockout screwed up, but it's not them. It's some company called Columbia (never heard of them) that services those 3 towns. That's why Methuen is ok.

One 5-10 NL game is running at Chasers now that the max buy-in is now 1K.

There’s a wait list of 5 for another game too.

Was thinking of playing cash at Chasers tonight. Has anyone who has played Mon-Wed nights there comment on the action I can expect to see?

Yes — I believe it changed on Friday, late in the day.

As of Saturday, all NH rooms have the option to raise max buy-in level to 1k. Each room will decide accordingly on their own.

Chasers added 5/10 NLHE (500-1k), adjusted 1/3 PLO (200-700 max...up from 500 max), other games 2/5 (200-500) & 1/2 (60-300) remained the same.
