If I could give a recommendation to all the poker rooms. You should post results on your websites so we can see how many entries your tournaments are getting. I don't play tournaments much, but I would play a $250 if the room was drawing in a good size crowd.
What's the best room for tournament turnout? From the outside looking in, it appears that Hampton Falls gets a decent turnout for their big tournaments.
I recall someone said they got 47 people. I wasn't paying that close attention.
A nice bonus was a $500 bounty placed on one of the regulars. HA! Opening weekend, and they have a Reg! well, regular well know NH tourney player, and nice guy, willing to take on the Bounty. The bounty was split $250 cash and $250 entry into the 3 day event coming up (possibly open to others, don't know for sure).
Nice touch there PUCK!
A potential problem with listing results is that many players do not want their winnings posted. Of course, the rooms could post have many players played, and the payouts, or other similar data.
I use
http://www.thirdmanwalking.com/plohistory
to track PLO data on card rooms to know where the action has been, and I encourage NH poker rooms to feed this website. There's no reason why similar data can't be stored and displayed for tourneys. I have no idea if there are similar sites already set up for Tournament history.
I wanted to stick around to play some PLO after the tourney, but it didn't seem like it was going to happen.
Very nice card room. I look forward to more tournaments here, and maybe some PLO someday.
Beast, to answer your question: Hampton Falls is also well know for having good numbers in their tournaments and excellent structures.
