Hey Amnesia, Yes if was fun seeing you...not so fun doubling up that little stack of yours. :P Too bad it was a short-handed game and it broke early.

I will say that when I got to Chasers George, the poker room manager, was kind enough to start the PLO game short for me, which goes a long way with me.

What's the deal with the waitstaff at Chasers? Do they not work for tips? Seems like they made zero effort to actually wait on the players. I had to go to the bar myself to get a beer. I mean it's no big deal, but compared to the crew at hampton they're really bad.

Also, the day the place opened, the chip runner came over and grabbed somebody's cash and just walked away. Pretty much everyone at the table said "ummm she needs to count the money and confirm it with the player and dealer before walking away" She's still not doing that and to make it even better she came to our table Saturday with a rack of chips and said "Who's chips are these?"

Get your sh%t together.

p.s. don't hire family if they're not going to actually work.

Does anyone else hate the new room at BBC? I mean, there's no music, tv sounds. Hearing the live music was the best part of BBC. It's still my favorite room in Nh, that's not saying much.Hopefully, cheers will be better. Any word on a soft opening date?

don’t hate it, but definitely preferred the old set up. i guess they want to get back to a “club” scene up front on weekend nights which they had to stop once they got poker.

I can see maybe a case for not being in the same room as the live music, but not even TVs? Is that temporary perhaps? So basically they're looking for a vibe that's like playing poker in church?

So they have a deal where they splash the pot every time the Patriots score/win but there are no TV's in the room to see the game ?

Someone report back when they fix that, please.

There are plenty of TVs in the new room. They seem to alternate between piped in music or TV audio for big games.

FWIW, Cheers is now showing up as a room in Poker Atlas...

Stopped by Cheers as they prepare to open.

Nick and Mich greeted me at the door with huge smiles and told me the PLO game can now start ASAP. Dan then gave me the executive tour.

The place is large and spacious, open and well lit, with a high ceiling. I think he said 36 tables, with room for 6 more tables for big events.

The tables are something. The legs are thick Oak. Really. Tops are real nice. USB ports for each seat... 2 feature tables set up for steaming and they'll be 2 dedicated PLO tables (hopefully with players).

Nice bar with granite counter, and 82" tv. Speaking of which, the walls of the room are lined with 55" and 65" TVs, like your top sports bars.

Nice looking Kitchen.
Bathrooms are large and spacious, as you would find in nice restaurants.

The place looks great.
Parking for 150+100 cars in the next lot.

Dan is hoping to open next Thursday, pending a few finishing touches and final sign off (I would wait on his announcement, not my say so. The last he wants is another opening date that may not happen), and culminating with a big end of week New Year's Eve party.

Wishing Puck and Cheers the best of luck for a successful venture!

Rake back and player rewards programming will offset our rake for players playing more than 8 hours a week...

Very liberal and generous plan in place....

HI,
the rules and regs of 2 + 2 prohibit room owners from promoting their rooms and casino's, other than early on general informational stuff.

Until such time as I am a registered room owner here on 2 + 2 Our promo stuff will be found in the room and blogged on FaceBook and will be posted on our website.

One main thing people have to keep in mind is that I am a long time poker player that has built and opening a room and casino. I understand right up front what peoples concerns are and addressed them in the buildout and the promotions offered.

We are built for players and employees, and the build out got a little out of hand (LOL); wait till you see the room.

I am always available to chat via PM here, on FB or twitter and am very active on FB.

Finally the build-out is 31 full time poker tables and 6 others that will be rolled out for big events.

We are running a massive MTT schedule and have 2 live stream tables.

Our Pit is a massive sports bar with 18 tables. We have 2 roulette tables and 16 table game tables. Included in those 16 are 2 handicap height tables.

we have 17 table shufflers in transit thru Scientific Games will be installing them in January. The estimated day according to them will be after the 2nd, but before the 30th.... The table are all cut and the holes are padded over.

The 3-day has been bumped up to 250 available seats for sale and the balance will be alternates. We will roll out the spare tables and have 11 other tables for cash and other events....

Merry Christmas Everyone !!

Is this just at Cheers? Is the rake $5+$1 at Chasers and Hampton Falls?

I believe the NH rooms are all $5+$1. Manchester has been known to take whatever the dealer wants at the time.

A friend of mine prefers to pay the highest rake in town. He knows the nits will avoid such a place, and he gets all the fish to himself, well worth the dollar.

Please elaborate. I know that Manchester currently takes $5+$2 for some kind of extra promotion crap, but it sounds like you're talking about something more nefarious than that.
