You're right. I mean how can we sit here and complain about poker when there are people starving to death in Africa.

Hey, you try playing at a table that you can't square up to the cup holders...

Are owners of rooms allowed to play in their rooms? I know they do, but are they allowed too?

From New Hampshire site:

" VIII. No person operating a game of chance and no person who has leased a facility or sold or leased game of chance paraphernalia or related equipment to a charitable organization for use during games of chance shall participate or play in any game conducted at that location on that date."

Wasn't there a big discussion about this happening at Manchester poker room on the FB group discussion Poker in MA? It appears you are right.

OP gets pissy b/c he had to wait for a seat to play. Meanwhile the owner (I believe it was manchester poker room) was sitting there in his special chair playing away and having a ball. OP says he won't play in any room when the owner decides to play instead of letting customers sit down and play.

Sorry, since it's a closed Facebook group it's violating people's privacy by posting screencaps of it.

Was just curious guys. Thanks for info.

I fully support owners/operators playing in games. Gives them perspective of how games are running, as well as gives them further motivation to keep improving.

I do see the other side. Operators like the guy who ran the Holiday Inn and VFW in Nashua years ago make a pretty easy case that regulations should exist.

C'mon man. You mean to tell me you went into this not expecting to have to "grease the wheels?" I'm sure the "charity donation" will go to a good cause.......greens fees, beach trips, nice cars etc.

Has anyone ever been to a private game where the host was playing and didn't get up to make room for a player? Me neither. That's seriously F'd up if the owner didn't get up for a customer. Is he the self-described "King of NH Poker"?

But whatever, once wynn opens it'll be 2 tables of 1-2 and $40 sng's.

it's a $240+$10; 20K/5K.

My interpretation is $240 for the first 20K in chips, and $10 for the next 5K in chips. It could be interpreted either way. $10 rake sounds much better.

Somehow, I just don't see it happening.

That should bring people in.

As far as the structure sheet, forgive me Dan, but I can't find it. I checked Cheers website and Facebook page. I'm sure its there, but don't know where.

All I see is a one page Tournament Calendar for January.
