As poker player we all feel bad for the legal problems is not good for new room or competition in region. But when never listen to warning about Cheers and story made ugly by you

Are owners of rooms allowed to play in their rooms? I know they do, but are they allowed too?

From New Hampshire site:

" VIII. No person operating a game of chance and no person who has leased a facility or sold or leased game of chance paraphernalia or related equipment to a charitable organization for use during games of chance shall participate or play in any game conducted at that location on that date."

OP gets pissy b/c he had to wait for a seat to play. Meanwhile the owner (I believe it was manchester poker room) was sitting there in his special chair playing away and having a ball. OP says he won't play in any room when the owner decides to play instead of letting customers sit down and play.

Was just curious guys. Thanks for info.

I fully support owners/operators playing in games. Gives them perspective of how games are running, as well as gives them further motivation to keep improving.

I do see the other side. Operators like the guy who ran the Holiday Inn and VFW in Nashua years ago make a pretty easy case that regulations should exist.

My interpretation is $240 for the first 20K in chips, and $10 for the next 5K in chips. It could be interpreted either way. $10 rake sounds much better.

Somehow, I just don't see it happening.
