After a real real challenging last week, it is 100% OFFICIAL. About 20 minutes ago we received our Certificate of Occupancy so YES, Open tomorrow!
BOOM! When you come I hope you will agree we are trying to change NH Poker for the better...and I believe we will.

Just a reminder to both Chip and Puck that as soon as your respective rooms open you will need to stop posting until you become an authorized rep. Contact user Bobo Fett for that procedure (he's listed as one of the mods at the bottom of the forum page).

There is no lawsuit, never has been one, and if one ever comes, I will blog and publicize it on every social media for the great exposure it would bring....
Glad to hear this was the rumor mill at play, although FWIW a lot of what you say here is either only somewhat correct or not at all correct from a legal perspective. But hey - cheers for Cheers!

Saw the pics of the room on Facebook. Looking good.

but....by MA standards, this was run about as smoothly and effectively as you could have ever hoped.

The Wynn will most likely surpass any casino that may have been built previously. I forsee it to be slammed at least 4-5 yrs.

Lets not forget MGM Springfield will open in Sept 2018. With a distant location, I dont see that place crushing it, but you never know.

For now we have these local NH places as a nice alternative, to Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun/Twin River....

Great news to hear Chasers Poker will be open for business tomorrow!

Suggestion to new rooms: definitely need to get real time updates for "games in progress" option on poker atlas. I've noticed some NH rooms have it and some don't. Thx.

Also, any chance for deals with nearby hotels for "poker rates"?

Thx. And good luck.

I meant for a real, massive, revenue-generating, economy-changing casino...but I quite take your point.

No real hotels in Salem. Red Roof Inn, Holiday Inn, and a motel. Thats all I can seem to think of and I wouldnt stay at any of them.

Excellent! I will be there looking for the PLO table. Please tell me you'll have 1/2 PLO.

I played at Chasers when it opened today. There’s a lot to like about the room. The tables and chips are nice (love the 100 dollar placards), the renovation is nice, the staff seemed very friendly.

My only minor criticisms were the cards seemed small (unless I’m going crazy) and one of the dealers we had seemed very experienced, though I’m sure she will get better with time.

Overall though, I’m very impressed with this place and I’ll definitely be checking it out again.

Very impressed with Chasers. Much nicer room overall and I really love the feel. I played only a few hours but will be my primary destination going forward. Chairs were awesome, USBs at each seat is great (bring your chargers), card swiping is dope, bar area and food were also great. Some familiar faces and it looks like the floor is very on top of making it a solid room.

Few new dealers but it’s too be expected there will be a learning curve with some but the floor was supportive and encouraging so I’m sure that gap will close. Few dealers were just great as well so I was impressed by that.

Also love having the dinner and 99 close and if you eat anywhere too much variety is great.

I’m excited to get back for a more proper session this weekend and going forward.

Overall positive on my visit to Chasers. I appreciated the comfortable chairs, and all the hard work and good attitude of the staff. So I offer the following as a suggestion, not really wanting to be critical on just their first day, but here goes:

I was disappointed overall by the lighting. The board cards and middle of the table are well lit, but other than that the place seems too dark. My standard is, is there enough light for me to see my hole cards without needing to put on my reading glasses? At Chasers, just barely; the lighting has a Twin River feel to it. At Foxwoods, Mohegan, and Hampton, the lighting is better. I hope someday they can improve this.

great time at Chasers yesterday. Very good vibe.

The place looks Great! and Comfortable. Great attitude everywhere. The staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible and open to input -- within reason of course.

Yeah, they had a few new dealers, but its a new place. they adjust. Most dealers were good or very good.

Plenty of action in the PLO games with rules to encourage red chip betting, and bigger buy-in limits, and reduced rake for short handed play. What's not to like?

I thought the cards were fine, but agree the lighting needs adjusting. The table was well lit, but shadows over the hole cards. And, don't look directly at the lights, or you might get blinded momentarily. But, they are very nice lights. Hopefully, this is a minor issue that can be adjusted.

Lots of monitors and TV screens.
The bar was hoping, and so were the table games.

Location is excellent.

A very good first day.

At the NLHE games at Chasers, players were button straddling. Is that a house rule? A state rule? Reason I ask is because at BBCC, I had never seen it done there and I swear some of the dealers said you couldn’t.

I played in another room in Nh that allowed button straddle. Think it was rivers. Probably just room dependent and not state law

I can confirm that Chasers did allow Mississippi stradles yesterday and they got a lot of displeased players. Thus they did away with it today.

Probably for the best, since a lot of recreational players feel intimidated by the button straddle and might have gone elsewhere. There will still be plenty of action.

I am not a big fan of the button straddle, as it provides extra advantage for the button and more disadvantage to the blinds, but if allowed, I will use it.
