Hey no rush! You already seem more involved in the poker community than anyone from the other NH rooms being on 2+2 and communicating with future customers and all. I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait GL in Vegas.

Drove by earlier. Looks like there's still alot of work to do.

Shame to see Rockingham torn down.

the actual work is the easiest and fastest part of the project. pushing paper and permits by far hardest and slowest part of every job...

yes, with the exception there will be many TV's all over the room. the photo is from Borgata where all the TVs are too small and too high. I will correct that in the Cheers room

I think I dealt to you before all this, table 26 right by sportsbook. We chatted about Foxwoods.

Cheers Poker Room & Casino update. June 11, 2017. On March 15, the town of Salem voters voted 83% in favour to rezone a section of town and allow the Cheers room to legally exist. At that point in time, the process was to complete the local permitting process that ALL businesses in Salem are required to undertake before opening. The largest and final hurdle is site plan review via the Planning Board. This is a massive undertaking in which access, traffic, infrastructure, building plans and layout, signage, lighting, all must be engineered and shown on a plan. In January, hedging on winning the vote, and long before the town vote I signed all the engineering contracts and started funding this process. The (multiple engineers) were in agreement that we could make the first meeting in May. Due to the complex nature of being on the state road along with antiquated infrastructure in that end of town, they did not meet the January deadline. However, this past Friday, June 9, our massive Planning Board package was accepted by the town and the meeting is scheduled for June 27. The bylaw states no construction can begin until Planning Board has approved the site plan. On June 1 we got the keys to our office building next door at 284 N. Broadway. We will be in that building painting and cleaning up this week and should have office hours before the end of the month for employment and charity interviews and documentation. The entire process is extremely long and very complicated. It was not expected. It’s also a very busy economy for engineers and contractors and all are lagging and somewhat off in schedule. We changed our opening date to summer 2017 to reflect the fact that everyone involved and going to be involved is very busy and in the height of their season. WE foresee no surprises that would cause a delay at this point, only grinding out the permits, engineering and construction. I encourage people to show up at the Planning Board meeting. Feel free to contact me with questions. * I will be in NJ at the end of the week for seminar with the Bravo Poker people….dd

Big steps Puck. Drove by the spot the other day looks huge! Are you planning on doing any exterior renovation (i.e., remove the massive doors/loading dock). That parking lot is big too. Needs a lot of lighting and some security cameras, but all in all this site is a gem. Can't wait for it to open.

A lighting plan is mandatory as part of the permit process. We will go further than what is mandated to make it as illuminated as possible. On all our projects, I use the ........... would I feel safe with this lighting, type of approach and bring it to that standard..
