Don't mark player's seat spaces. There is a reason why no one does this.

"Dealer! He's not in his space!"

"We're playing three-handed, he's the only person at that end of the table, who cares?"

"But he's NOT IN HIS SPACE! Square the table! Call the floor!"

Bigger tables won't bother the dealers, if the courtesy line is sized for the DEALER, instead of sized for the table.

...... You are 100% correct this would happen, and more than once!!!!! While simple things sound easy, there is always reasons why they are already not done. This is why we float questions and ideas....!!!! Good work!!!

Do they really have a 100k bbj and only aces full Q's?!?!
Confirmed. When 100K hit it was actually quad 2's vs straight flush when hit.

New BBJ up to 11k with Aces full of 10's qualifier.

Does anyone have a trip report from these tournaments at BB?

Puck visited the website a couple of times and drove by the physical location. Excited for this to get up and running.

If your room looks anything like the pictures you posted on the website I think you'll be getting a major share of the poker business in the area. I mean, Rockingham Park got a bunch a business and their room was a dump.

I dont think it is going to happen but I guess East Windsor CT right off 91 was chosen for the "Fohegan" casino.

The only way this doesn't happen is if MGM wins a lawsuit. The crooked politicians in CT love when they can get their hands on more free money to blow

Went to BBC this past week. Got there around 8pm on Friday night. Quick TR:

Pros:
Nice tables/cards/chips.
Friendly dealers.
Great and juicy games (from a 1/2nl perspective).

Cons:
Disorganized - I walked in a noticed about 8 people on the 1/2nl list. I asked around on how to get on the list, no one really knew. They pointed me around and finally I talked to, who I guess was, a manager. I asked how do I put my name on the 1/2nl list and he pointed a table out and said there was a seat open right there. Weird, but cool that I got sat right away and didn't have to wait. Not sure if the list means anything

Wait staff - Most likely a temporary training issue, but it took forever to get a beer. Once I did order it was about 15 minutes until I saw it floating around the pit. I had to flag her down and tell her that I believe that was my beer on her tray. By then it was warm. Not a deal breaker. Everyone has a first day on the job, I have worked in bars for over 10 years, I can live.

Overall I'm very excited that I found this place. Being a relatively new NE'er I figured the nearest place to play cards would be at Foxwoods. I will be back for sure. Can't wait until Cheers Poker room opens, that will be a lot closer to me.

Rating: 4/5

The floor people do a lot of floating around, and don't necesarily stand by the computer with the list.
The good news is that they are generally pretty quick to open new tables. Wait times are usually not bad. That's probably what happened when you were there - they just opened a new table and the list wasn't current, so a seat was available.

The waitstaff issue is just weird. They have 3-6 waitresses that cover the whole room with no designated areas. So you just have to flag down whoever walks by. It's not particularly efficient and very inconsistent.

But the room is nice, the place is lively and the games are good.

There's no doubt BBCC looks great, but I'm a little torn on the atmosphere.

On one hand, I sometimes like that it's lively because I find live poker can get boring when you sometimes play in a room you can hear a pin drop.

On the other hand, I sometimes find the noise there a bit too much, especially when the live music kicks in.

Not bad considering their average number of cash tables for a Saturday night being like 5-6

Vote is Next Tuesday ..... Racks of greens have been flowing out the door as engineers were given the green light in January.... Many trees will be sacrificed with engineers drawings and nitty gritty local and state permits. The vote is the big one; but, many many typical reviews and approvals needed at local and state level.

Nothing out of the ordinary, just a ton of them

Unless something changed recently (and I doubt it, or we would've read about it ITT), state law restricts the blinds to a max of $4.

Puckster, I admire your persistence through this "run bad" stretch.

Here's hoping this gets resolved shortly because I'm looking forward to giving you my business.
