I was up in Keene last month and stopped in the Casino on a Thursday night around 9pm. Nice, clean friendly looking place. roomy.

They has 1 cash game going at $1/2, with 6 players siting. Upstairs they had a tournament in progress. It looked like two half filled tables.

they had capacity for much more in both areas.

everyone was friendly and laid back.

Weighing my options for a Saturday out. Hampton falls $90 tourney then cash(unless I run good and deep). Manchester $175/w/$50 accumulating bounties(then cash, yada, yada). Or twin river cash. Both tourneys are 30k/30 min levels. Any words of advice/warning/encouragement?

Went to BBCC last night. Very impressive room. The dealers were very good. The place is very clean and the tables and chips were nice. Even though the place is wide open, I didn't find the poker area too loud.

They had about 10 poker games going and the table games were packed. Through word of mouth and advertising, I think this place is going to really take off.

I was up there yesterday, Sunday, and they were busier than expected (they guessed this was b/c they weren't competing with the Patriots game, since the Pats play Monday night). I got there around 3:45 and the list for 1/2 NL was about a dozen people. Similar for 2/4 NL. The floor people were doing a good job filling seats as they opened, however (folks I recognizes from Rockingham, almost all of them). And they were calling up dealers to come in off their couches.

I would up getting seated at 1/2 around 4:20. Not a terrible wait, all things considered.

As previous poster said, the place is pretty nice. I don't mind the buzz of noise at all; great TVs; I recommend the place.

I agree with the above two posts. I was at BBC for He first time and liked it. It was kind of cool having some different crowds in there for sure. Dealers and staff competent overall and it's obvious who is newer. Love knowing my tips are going to the dealers directly.

Overall I think all the rooms are pretty much of par. It's pretty awesome how many games are going between the three main rooms. It seems most of the 2-4 action is at Hampton from pokeratlas but outside of that I think pretty much it's all the same players base so deciding where to play is going to come down to a matter of opinion and Amount of travel.

And I'd love to see more promotions and one of these rooms making a fun at the best room but it's all really a waiting until Wynn.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 chips about BBC. Nice tables, good dealers, waitress service was fine. I've been twice, both times early on a weekday. Waiting at that hour isn't an issue. They had two tables going, with lists forming for plo by 3:30. The action was a bit loose. I imagine that on a weekend it goes from loose to crazy loose.

This is good to hear - I was thinking about a day trip next week and was worried things wouldn't get up and running until mid-afternoon at the earliest.

Is there a buy-in limit for tournaments in NH? Could a $1k buy-in be offered, does anyone know?

Personally I like the tables being in the wide open room and don't mind the music at all. However, I talked to a few dealers and BB is planning on expanding the poker room to be its own seperate room, away from the noise pool tables. So for those of you that noise was an issue, it won't be in the near (?) future

I have mixed feelings about this. Obviously less noise and distraction is nice, but this will also cut off the pool/drinking/dancing crowd's line of sight of the gaming section, which could reduce the number of recreational players who wander to the tables. It's not like a poker room needs to be library-quiet.

Personally, I think BBCC should harness their pool and bar customers as a gambling base as much as possible. That's one of the major advantages of that location.

BBCC room is fine as it is. Lively, but not too noisy to be distracting.

Agreed that keep it open and connected is probably helpful for drawing in more players.

Waitress service is meh, especially when busy. And the dynamic is weird that they don't seem to announce themselves. You have to make a substantial effort to make eye contact and flag them down, but that's a quibble.

Nobody has. Each time I check pokeratlas there is a list and no game.

I visited BB for the first time on Friday. Couple of my buddies wanted to play $4 BJ and I figured why not try out the poker. Sat down at $1/$2 while waiting for the $2/$4 to open up. Players were actually solid at my 1/2. Moved to the 2/4 and one guy had $2500k in black chips and over $500 in green chips. I have no idea how he accumulated those chips, especially the black $100s, because who buys in with the $100s? The 2/4 was less crazy than I am normally used to. I had a guy bet into my flopped full house on every street gave me his entire stack. Left after 1 hour of being there, because my friends were bored with $4 BJ (you don't say). Made $650.00.

PROS: Tables, Staff, CHIPS!!, Cards (about as good as you will get around here. Still big face, which I hate, but they are bridge size (narrow) cards, which I love.

CONS: It is quite loud, but it wasn't too bad. My first dealer was awful, but the others were just fine, so I guess the jury is out on the dealers, for now.

I also heard that they are planning on expanding to the other side of the building, which is apparently 10,000 square feet.

I typically play at Hampton Falls, which I like, but if BB starts getting more traffic I will probably switch there, because I hate the chips and cards at HF. They really are just awful.

Damn didn't even know they had black chips there.. That 2-4 game is usually pretty crazy. Also heard the same about the expansion but for a tourney area. Hoping the place gets more attention soon cuz the atmosphere already trumps the other rooms around..

Pretty standard to color up when up several buyins.

Maybe the big stack squashed the action players.

My one complaint with BBC would be to be more on top of players discussing action when. Not in a hand. I was involved in a 1k pot with multiple action of multipl streets and the whole table was more or less talking about the action, how the bets went in, how much money was in the pot all while someone was tanking for a bit. Even the dealer got I voled making a comment : "well you can call but you don't have to call". In the context and the other chatter I felt there was a lot of people insinuating what they might do to the other player.

I had to make the comment and ask the dealer to tell the table to stop which I shouldn't have to do. I am not being the ******* there and shouldn't have to look like that guy at the table. I get it's a home game atmosphere at times and maybe the smaller games let it slide or games where it's 9 guys who know each other but as the games get bigger this shouldn't be happening.
