I don't know anything about NH gaming law, but in other jurisdictions the casino is required to set aside holdings to account for the outstanding chip (check) balances, and are required to have a process in place to allow for redemption of those checks for a period (e.g. a year) after the casino closed operations. If NH cloned its gaming law from AC or NV they may have similar provisions.

Though this article says it was only a couple weeks after closing for Revel, after which you had to file in bankruptcy court, so maybe not all that long.

Looks like 8 tables and no tournaments to start. So another tiny room.

Boston Billiards is closed. The River, Seabrook and Hampton Falls are opened. Haven’t seen anything about Chasers confirming if they are opened or closed.

I believe so, I simply asked last time I was there if they were open on the fourth and was told yep. They didn't say any stipulations.

The room was indeed open, but a little quieter than I've have expected. Except for the fine young man who hit both his 2 outs to suck out with 9-9 on my KK on a 7-7-6 flop where all the money went in after the flop and proceeded to celebrate like he'd brought down the second in command for Al Queda. If you're reading this, act like you've been there before buddy.....

Reminds me of a hand in LV years ago where we gii on a 3 7 7 flop, I had 33, villain had AA and proceeded to counterfeit me otr. He fist pumped and yelled 'YES! The best hand won!!!!'

Good times.

I saw on the Chaser's website that 70 hrs in July gets you "Royal Flush status." Anyone know what attaining "Royal Flush Status" gets you? There are no details on the website.

Thanks in advance...

There are two tiers for rewards. Regular is $0.50/hour and you can cash out in $10 vouchers. Royal is $0.75/hour and I think in addition to vouchers you can also cash out points for chips at something like 40pts = $25.

Of the Mass casinos set to open, which casino can we expect to be the best for poker?

There Will only be two, and with Wynn being bigger and close to Boston, it will probably be better. MGM has about a year to itself so it should be decent. A decent amount of office type workers in close proximity should lead to some good games weeknights after 5pm.

That's been dead for awhile. They broke ground to much fanfare and are awaiting on congress to affirm their reservation status. Counting on congress isn't wise.

There was supposed to be a third license issued in the southern area, but it was reserved for an Indian casino if they could get federal approval, which was not given. Still held up in litigation, AFAIK.

I heard through the grapevine that cards were in the air in the new Lebanon, NH room as of yesterday. Would love to get a TR since I'll likely frequent that room when I stay just over the VT border every once a month or so.

That room did open. I guess there’s also a room now open in Berlin, NH, as well.
