The rooms are literally 2 miles apart. If Cheers does turn out to be the better room, I seriously doubt nobody will go.

Was in the area on Sunday and saw the outside of Chasers. Nice sign, but that building....

Of course, that won't stop me from going in but it may deter others. Just my 2c.

I read this post and thought, "That's silly."

Then I remembered that I grew up one exit away from this joint when it was a Chinese restaurant, did most of my shopping and socializing in Salem NH...and never once set foot in the place. And I *love* Chinese food. But there was always something unsettling about the exterior's decor, while I sat at that stop light and looked at it.

You may be on to something.

(Of course, I had other restaurants to choose from--poker rooms, not so much.)

sick buldout... way over did it, even by my standards. 35 year custom builder and GC, world traveling poker player, let loose in huge space = prime product for players and employees.

I've said for 3 years I'm not competing with anyone, just doing my thing. I'll be surprised if people are not blown away, actually, shocked...

How can bigger tables be a negative?
more room for comfort.
I hate tight fits.

...and the cup holder issue. I prefer the cup holders off to the side and playing between the cup holders. OK, so there's an extra cup holder. One person gets an extra space to hold their cell phone. no big deal.

I really like the big cup holders. the first ones I've seen that fit my large cell phone. can't do that at Foxwoods, not anymore anyway.

Who knows. I just find it strange how he lied to everybody saying he was ready to open with no carpeting, no chips, no cameras, no kitchen. The multi-day tournament looks pretty decent though. I like the $10 rake, shows you he is clueless.

You guys complaining about rooms that are apparently 2 miles apart and whether one opens a month earlier or later or cup-holders or whatever is just mind-blowing. Come to southern CT and enjoy your 1.5hr drive to MS/FX and 2hr drive to Sands/PA casinos. Even the catskills casino will be a 2hr drive. I cant wait for the wynn complaining to start. what will it be.... too many southies punting stacks and then fighting in the paaking lot?
