Dan is most likely putting the finishing touches down, or waiting for that carpet to arrive.

Unless I've missed something, it's been largely radio silence other than a picture of - to put it mildly - an unbecoming sign.

Sure, maybe he figures he'll let his room speak once it's open, or perhaps real life intrudes; however, for him to have gone from his former posting rate to near nothing as his projected opening date(s) have either come and gone or at least neared - it's a bit......let's say odd

He's only logged in once in over 10 days. He's probably just busy.

I'm looking forward to visiting both Cheers and Chasers. Assuming both will be well run, the one that gets most of my business will be the one that has the best lighting. (I was at TR today, and I'm getting pretty tired of poker in the semi-darkness).

lighting is a major concern of mine, after playing the Foxwood's dungeon for too many years.

can't wait to see that LED lighting at Chaser's.

The Rock had limited lighting, depending on your seat.
HF has good lighting no matter where you sit.

Hi CassandraG,
I am a tournament player myself. However, just so you know, when we open Oct 27, we will open without tournaments.

But lets assume tournaments start in November!

George, myself and Al are trying to develop a tournament structure that is a little different. Not re-inventing the wheel different, just listening to players and noticing whats missing out there. PM me if you have any suggestions please.

OH, BTW, CassandraG, do you like these dealer chairs? Well, we thought players would love them to so we bought 176 of them!! Wheels, height adjustment, Rocking and locking ability--ALL FOR THE PLAYERS and already here!

Looking forward to seeing you at Chasers!

Chasers put these LED Chandeliers on dimmers just in case they are too bright! Also, not our only source of lighting, but there will be one over most tables!

Hope to see you at Chasers!

I have yet to experience too bright at a poker table.

Lighting is definitely one of my pet peeves.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I'm a tournament only player, so you'll see me once those get going. Love the chairs!

One of the reasons I hate playing at TR. Then the cards are extra small print to top it off.

So you're a masochist? Godspeed.

The chairs look great!

Boston Billiard posted on their FB/Twitter today that their expansion through that back wall for a “sound controlled” poker room will be open in November. When they first opened I hated how noisy it was but since then I’ve come to kind of enjoy it.

Yeah kind of a bummer I play there cuz I like the bar atmosphere. Now it's gonna be like every other poker room full of whiny miserable players

Hi All,
I want to say thank you for letting me in. The questions and comments and private messages were very welcoming and helpful. Im not checking in as much as I could earlier, but for great reason.
We are in the final stretch and the obstacles have been as tough as possible. So far we have kept all at bay--a shout out to one of our new trainees Mary Lou....ask me later but she helped save some days with a connection. As of this minute, YES to October 27!

Although I hope to post before we open, this will be my last pic. It should show how close we are. We hope you like the look we went for...note, the far wall will look way better it is just the textured material we are using is late.

Lisa and I hope to see you come by for your favorite game and stakes.

All the best...genuinely,
Mike

Tough to know exactly what the finished product will look like, but that reminds me a bit of BBCC and I mean that as a compliment.

While I admire the effort you have put into the room and your vision for "doing things right", I think you missed the mark with the logo.

Those in the business, as well as informed players everywhere, have been attempting to educate others to remove the term "fish" from their poker vocabulary for years. While I don't know your history in poker or that of your team, the fact that you chose that logo while overlooking it's negative impact in the poker world is truly concerning and quite amateurish.

I apologize if that comes off as rude, and perhaps you thought the cuteness of the logo made it ok, but it is harmful to the industry as a whole.

I do however appreciate your passion and enthusiasm for doing things correctly and I'm sure Chasers will be a success. I look forward to stopping by when I'm in the area.

From the 19th on the Cheers website...

Cheers Poker Room & Casino
Schedule Update
October 19, 2017,

Greetings Everyone,

It looks like we are 10 construction days from complete; Halloween. ** subject to reasonably industry standard timed inspections.

The casino build-out was complete in just under 3 weeks from the interior build-out permit issued on September 14. The sub-contractors have been working and completing their end, only to suffer local inspectional delays. Casino products are arriving and we are making space to store the good stuff safely.

Although a massive project to complete in a few weeks, the build-out is coming out spectacular. I am super excited looking at the finish casino, it’s much better than I anticipated.

There is no construction delay, only red tape. The construction schedule has progressed as planned; permitting delays from the town and the state have slightly delayed the actual finishing out of the interior build-out of the Casino floor. While they delay, I expand and upgrade.

The paving company milled the entire parking lot on schedule and binder is schedule for the end of next week, landscaping shrubs are on site and ready to be planted.

Opening day is all subject to permit inspections, final inspections, and final issuance of the occupancy permit.

Please bear with us as we wrap it up and navigate the final construction finishes, and any delays which are beyond our control.

We have an incredible staff of management and dealers and have over 84 charities signed up. For up to date info, find us on the web at www.cheerspokernh.com and like us on Facebook. Feel free to email me direct at ddandreo@cheerspokernh.com

Thank you,

Daniel Dandreo
