played here last night for first time in probably 5 years. the plexiglass setup was good. most dealers were good, none were bad.

but man is this place terrible at filling seats. there was a long list and for over an hour my table had two or three open seats. every time we would ask the floor supervisor, he or she would just say "i know" or "we called people"... well move on to the next people cause those people you called haven't shown up for an hour! the list was like 30 deep. several times we had to pause if someone went to the bathroom and we fell below four players. floor supervisors, with a few exceptions, just seemed to be not into their jobs.

but had a good time overall. i'll probably be back.

although the room still has some drawbacks like you mentioned they have made marked improvements to the room as compared to what it was over the years. If they continue making improvements (letting dealers keep their tips) and running promos I think Mount Airy can have a major impact on Wind Creek when they decide to reopen

Is it still 10 handed and ten to flop?

I think it’s 8 or 9 handed

How are the games here on Saturday night?
I will be in the area and am looking to play.

Ok the few times I’ve been there, just remember they have a weird rule where any chips you carry over the betting line constitutes a bet.

It's sad, as airy is the closest card room to me, but it's hard to not drive the extra 20 minutes to wind creek. I havnt played at airy in years but I remember telling myself I'd never play there again.

Hearing it's improved is nice.

Anyone know how many players they get for Friday Evening Bounty?

I’m staying near Mount Airy… so you think it’s worth the 20 min drive to wind creek instead of 2 min drive to MA?

I see plo at wind creek and just two games of 1-2nl at Ma

If you play 1/2, MA is fine, but their 2/5 (if it even gets off) is 500 max, WC is 1K max and 400 Max for 1/2 and 2/2 PLO goes pretty often (I don't recall seeing PLO at MA but I don't play there anymore).

I would drive 20 min. even if you only play 1/2, they'll have a lot more games anyway.

I was closer to 20 min drive to MA and hour drive to wc… I was at camelback nice resort.

Probably wouldn’t go back to MA. It’s nice and all but 2 tables of 1-2nl just doesn’t cut it for me.

You can call in to have your name added to the list for Windcreek. The phone number is in the bravo app. Not sure of what promo's Mount Airy has but Windcreek has high hand running almost everyday.
