What's the PLO action like over in Montreal? I'm thinking I might pay the city a visit.

How is public transportation from Montreal to casinos outside city limits?

There are a surprising number of people that take public transportation. It can take a while but it's pretty efficient and regularly scheduled, so lots of both players and staff take the bus.

Basically it's simple: use the Montreal Metro from anywhere to get to the final station on the Green line: Angrignon. From there, you can transfer to a #32 or #31 EXO bus (used be known as CITSO) and it will drop you off right in front of Playground.

As far as PLO games are concerned, it really varies. There's at least one game every evening - but during events it can bump up to 7-8 tables at any one time.

Around 25 minutes with light traffic.
Last bus at ~ 1am, starts again at around 6am.

But be share to check google for traffic and actual bus departure times as they might vary throughout the week.

1. Is there any limit HE offered anywhere in the Montreal area. I'm looking for 20-40 or higher. It doesn't look like it, but I wanted to be sure.

2. I'm going to be there on the opening weekend of the NCAA college tournament and I was hoping to find a good sports bar where about 5 of us can watch the games and have some decent food. We'll probably be having dinner there so food selection is probably a little more important than beer/selection. But most important would be to have a good view of multiple games. Anyone have any suggestions?

Here is a list of bars I have been to to watch sports. Gives you a chance to look at the menus, setup, and location.

I am guessing you've never been to Montreal before? Basically any bar on St. Catherine, St. Denis, or St. Lauren will have what you're looking for. Also tons of sports bars in Old Town, as well.
