Is MS any more liberal with hotel offers now that they expanded? I play FW mostly because I get Sun-Thur hotel offers fairly routinely. Just to give a basic profile - 40-60 hours of 1/2 and some 2/5 annually. Generally something like 1/month for 4-5 hours. No other games. And i never claim any rewards except occasionally I will use the hotel offers around the holiday to shorten a trip from SoCT to MA, and mix in some poker obv. I would gladly switch to MS which is closer to me if so.

Kind of a long shot, but looking to play at mohegan thanksgiving weekend; any recommendations on getting a better deal than what I can find on their website for 1-2 nights? (fri+sat)

The room has a poker rate which comes to around $120 or $130 a night with tax and fees. You can call the room and ask about it. The number of rooms is limited and I don't know the specifics of play requirements.

I've searched the Mohegan Site and itt but can't find anything regarding the status points for the current offers. Can someone tell me how many status points a 1/2 player earns per hour?

Roughly never. Every couple weeks or so, maybe. Generally 2/5, with a $500 BI. Never more than one game.

The 1/2 ($300) PLO ran this past weekend for an hour or two before it died.

For the comp room, Mohengansun didn't charge any resort fee and/or tax. Is that the same for everyone? I pay $27 fee and tax in Borgata even it is comp room.

I also booked room with poker rate at $98+($30tax and fee). Is the rate same for everyone, and regardless of weekday or weekend?

Mohegan and Foxwoods don't charge tax/fee on comped rooms. Many AC/Vegas casinos do though.

The poker rate is static and does not fluctuate based on day of week. The poker rate is the poker rate regardless of it being Saturday or Tuesday. Obviously based on demand you'll have greater chance on a weeknight as they only have x number of rooms available at that rate per night.

I am offered some free weekdays only, probably due to little play (I play 10+ hours each day, but only twice a month). Have you guys ever been offered for Saturdays??

I have never heard of a poker-only player being offered a Saturday aside from a full-time player who had a Soar card which comes as one of the benefits.

That kills my dream to make Mohengansun weekend home, since I work M-F.

Borgata offers me 364 days for playing poker only (I play about 12+ hours a day, for three days each trip, average a trip every other month, combination of 1/2 & 2/5.)

Well, at least Mohengansun offers me free concert ticket.

Late September/ early October i played at Foxwoods for the first time in maybe 4 years. The thing I found interesting was at the end of October i was sent a post card from Foxwoods with an offer for Free hotel rooms Sunday through Thursday in November, except Thanksgiving. One of the days Available would have been the Sunday night before their big high hand promotion. Also $20 to use for any restaurant.
I was just too busy to use it.

First three flights added up to 333. Today's has 140 right now and they are expecting over 200 for tonight's 5pm. Expecting over 700 I guess total.

I was playing cash last night. The dealers/players were talking how yesterday was really busy. It must have been because of the tournament.
There was 14- 1/2nl tables going while i was there. Not bad for a Wednesday night.
