I have a random question. I was thinking about going down this saturday to play some craps for the first time. If I were to get a mix of $500 and $1000 chips (in case I felt like playing more) to go along with $5 chips, but colored up to the higher denomination ones for a $5000 chip because I didn't like playing craps, would I have any trouble cashing the blue one in at the cashier?

Reason why I ask is that I've heard of stories of people in Las Vegas having high denomination chips given to them by people that owed them money but had them confiscated at the cashier's window because they couldn't verify that they actually played with them.

Well they'll be able to track it back to you getting it in a color up at the craps table, so it wouldn't be an issue.

It does matter if you play more after you get a leap card. Because there is also a card above Leap, which is Ascend. With the Ascend card you get 800 choice credits a month. So at 100 credits per room that's 8 rooms a month. Plus, and i'm not exactly sure of this, with Ascend you may get the random free rooms, more often then the Leaps. There is also a poker room rate, which I think is like $95 plus tax.

Leap is at 600 pts and ascend is at 1400 pts.

Does anyone know the poker room rate code? Or so you have to call the poker room to get it?

someone told me that once you get LEAP, you start earning an extra 10% pts per hour... so instead of 2pts/hr at 1/2 it would be 2.2/hr.

can anyone confirm this?

I don't think people play them. I'm sure you can call the poker room and ask. The Mohegan poker series aren't that popular

Anybody know the day1a entries for the $400 today at MS? I'm guessing we're not going to see any blog updates since their web guy doesn't work there any more. Thanks

Hearing a rumor that Mohegan sun is planning to sign with pokerstars and host a live event/ partnership. Do not see how or why this would happen and work but have heard from several separate sources both within mohegan and outside. Would probably push the deepstacks away? Anyone else hear anything?

Deepstacks is already gone/seperated from/with MS.

Maybe they could call this new Partnership NAPT ????

Identify your sources ?
