Very happy to see the new cards are in. This is a very comfortable room to play in. most of the dealers have improved and do a great job. Other then 1 mistake last night that I think cost me a lot of action, I haven't had problems with dealers or floor. It's great to just go and focus on the game.

Gauge - I forgot to look for the 3/6 LHE game, will try to remember next time I go.

Does anyone know how much the gas is there? I don't even know how to get to their gas station but am wondering if that is a good way to use the points.

Using your points to buy gas is a lousy idea. Stopped in there one time to buy gas, last year when normal prices were approaching $4.00 a gallon, MS's price was over $5.00 a gallon. If you must go, the gas station is on the main exit road (Mohegan Sun Boulevard) right by the tower which has the flaming torch on it.

I believe the Riverview garage is the closest, but the only time I have ever seen it not being full was one time when I got there around noon on a Saturday.

I'll be there tonight and tomorrow but I'll be playing 2-5. I'm the 50+ish bald guy with a goatee, who has been told a number of times, only while playing poker though, that I look like John Malkovich, one of these times I need to bring some Oreos.

Don't believe the signs. You can almost always find spots in the Riverview Garage even when it's marked as "full."

Thanks, staying there tonight so it will be valet. My wife is such a "high roller" she got us a free room.

Closest garage is the Riverview, when you enter a level go to the right side of that level. There are two elevators and you want to take the one that brings you to the Sky Casino. The Earth elevator puts you on the otherside of the mall, with a longer walk.

If you valet, use the Sky Valet.

The "crack cocaine" of Casino games actually, Video Poker. The comps, e.g. free concerts, free or reduced price rooms, are substantial compared to the number of points she earns.

If I feel like a smart ass, I'll ask if the 10-30 nl is a spread-limit game.

btw I haven't a clue as to what to spend MS points on other than gas and food. Since FW took away the gift cards, MS is now a tough competitor in comps because they have the gas station.

10/30 nl is what shows on the Bravo system monitors that the floors use in reference to the 2/5 limit. In the computer system it does this so that the 2/5 game gets the comp points the way management wants them to get. 5/10 NL shows up as 20/50.

There are no actual games at these levels (10/30 and 20/50) I did notice that on the signup boards one night the 2/5 game was listed as 10/30 due to some glitch.

Paulie,

Have any of those low limit mixed games been going on the weekends? I was thinking of heading down today or tomorrow and was hoping to play something mixed.

They have, but I cant guarantee it. I thing last night there was a 3/6 OE.
1/2 PLO went last night also.

If you do go, start a list for whatever mix game you want. If it is in the computer they will put it up on the board for you.

Not sure if this would work but you could always buy a few concert tickets for some big act with your points, then turn around and sell on ebay or something.

Foxwoods did not take away the gift cards, they were just out for awhile.

As for FW, management finally smartened up and realized an empty room is not the way to go so prices have been lowered and therefore are getting booked more.

anyone see this? At ms playing 1/2 yesterday, table next to me is 120 sng. 5 seat is coughing and sneezing directly into his hand. It is liquidy. Other players are putting their shirts up over their mouths. Players complaining to the floor and floor jsut brings him tissues which postuse he is wedging in the cupholder. He wins sng the table is not cleaned and a 2/4 game begins. Disgusting.
This player goes up in the high roller area and sits in another cash game where people are sketched.
IMO if you are sick don't go to the casino

First time in the poker room at Mohegan Sun yesterday. I must say, I am impressed. I really liked it.

Only problem is trying to get a room for the night. I don't feel like paying $500 for the night.
