A friend of mine called for a poker rate for a room on a Monday and they said it would be $99 (definitely low enough considering the cheapest rooms online are $229). But is this rate based on the amount of hours he's spent in the poker room, total points on his card, etc.? Has anybody received lower rates?

Oh yeah exactly like him. Quiet guy I saw him at foxwoods 1 2nl . I thought I saw James Woods at Foxwoods and later read that he does actually play there.

Only Sagamore rated players get free rooms, you need to play around the clock @ $200/$400 limits, or play BJ @ 1 $100 per hand every week

Haha I wasn't hoping for a free room, just wondering if $99 is a standard rate or if it varies from player to player. Thanks for the help though.

I'm tired of PokerStars this AM, heading up to the SUN, after a shave & shower.............that's an ULGY thought. a F'nCAT with a Razor in the Shower.
I'm going to list a $2/$4 OMAHA game, come on in & sign up, & have a good Sunday

What to you guys think about the $450 Limit tour on Monday ?????

I have been asking around Foxwoods and it does not seem like any of the mid/high limit players are going.....

If the sun does not have any regular limit players ???? What should I expect ????

At the WPT limit tournamnet at FW they had 200 players....

While we're on the subject of who's who, does anybody know what the deal is with the guy who ALWAYS wears the off-white suit in the poker room?

Probably 80% of the time I am there, I see him and he is always wearing the same exact suit. He has greyish hair and is probably in his 50's. Just curious.

At what limits 1/2?

And if he has very scraggly like hair i know who he is.

The $10,00 guarantee wild wednesday tourney that has been run for the last three Wednesdays will not be run on the 22nd, but got pushed to the 29th. That may be where some confusion may have come in. RiLan would have posted here if there was a schedule change for sure.

He's one of the Regulars, moves from table to table, $1/$2 & $2/$5, grinding that $$$$$$$$ @ NL

Yes, he is one of the Regulars at MS. One of those who usually plays 1-2 hands per hour and look very quiet and bored at the table.
I found , that this kind of Regulars are not dead money at the table , but a good target , to extract money from if they did not play with you before.

I was really against going to this tournament series. The last (and only) time I've been to mohegan was the spring showdown for the $1500 event. On my 3rd night playing cash there (the biggest game was only 5/10-20 bring in 2500 NL) the floor treated me like absolute ****. They kept taking my name off the wait list, and at one point blatantly lied to me telling me there was no seat available in the game until I had the woman at the front walk back there with me and seat me into the game with a disgusted look from the floor. It was as if he did not want me to sit in the game.

I also noticed quite a bit of shady **** from a reg in those games, frankie flowers, with the floors allowing him to basically have his way at the table. I didn't complain too much about that though because he was still extremely bad and extremely profitable for me.

W/e the players were all very bad at mohegan both in the tourney and cash so guess I'll prob go to this. Gl to everyone and come say hi if u know me.

Do I need a Mohegan Sun player card if I want to play in one of the daily tourneys?

You just need a valid ID. Preferably a pictured drivers license or passport.

anybody else playing in the 150k guarantee tomorrow?

I sort of doubt that they will get 500 runners, and there is bound to be some overlay.
