Ourbus.com goes Ny, Ny to Mohegan. Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s a separate company so I don’t think you get anything from casino for trip.

Same at both places. NLHE games in CT are probably the worst in the country IMO. Extremely reg/nit infested.

Unsure about the worst in the country, but they were bad enough that I moved. I think it's due to the low rake and great reward system.

The games are lower variance… even PLO is less action at these two places.

I sometimes like grinding the NLH games bc I feel like I run the table over as no one really plays back at you.

But would probably be hard for a pro if that’s their only form of income and they were trying to sustain a high wr.

1-2 might be the move as well w higher wr attainable there than some of the 2-5 games.

Does anyone know how many people turn up for the $150 Saturday morning tournament generally speaking? I have a friend that is a casual poker player who’s more into tournaments that I’ve been meaning to go to the casino with and I think this tournament is good for the two of us to play since the buy-in is small as tournaments come. Also, how long does the tournament take?

This is the first Saturday tourney in a few years, so hard to say how many entries.
Todays $209 11am had 107 and got over about 7:00. But they played it out, no chop.
I would say Saturday morning and $150 buy in, probably looking at 100-130 range of entries, over by 7/8.

Runs on Tuesdays (3x status points), but from what I've heard, it's usually OE.

Saturdays, my memory is that the core group of players are usually playing 8-16 OE at Foxwoods.

Yes Tuesday its $7.50 15 pink chips but listed as 8-16 so we get 2 status pts and 2 momentum pts also. Status doubles on double poker status days (see web site).
Wed listed as 5-10 O/8 with kill but sometimes play is 7.50/15 OE too.
