i haven't been to Mohegan in Forever. Looking to come down saturday potentially - I dont even know where the poker room is these days - Any tips on best place to park for easy access. Assuming showing up pretty early (10am ish) should get me in a good spot on a list for whatever?

I was watching a rampage livestream and Mohegan sun came up..

Rampage said he will never be coming back to MS bc of the vlogging situation.

Does anyone that frequents MS think this is a good idea?

Do you mean Rampage not coming back or not allowing people to vlog poker sessions?

Don't forget, Mohegan told Rampage not to film and then he proceeded to still do so, if my memory serves me. I can't fault them for having a policy and adhering to it.

Also, I don't think it hurts them because Rampage has become big enough that where he plays is very much secondary to the action/limits. Plus, it's not like he's gone to Foxwoods, which I suppose Mohegan could see as a problem given the proximity.

Ya he should have got permission. They were right to enforce rules. But a rule change seems inevitable. They already allow phones on the rail again.

But more importantly I think the vlog friendly environment for rampage and other vloggers would make the games better and there would be potential for meet up games. Idk it seems good for the games to get a fun atmosphere.

True - I didn't think of the MUG aspect, although if memory serves me Rampage has done exactly one of those in New England, this past Memorial Day with Johnnie Vibes at BBC. It seems he doesn't really prioritize them for whatever reason; if I had to guess, it's because he feels he doesn't need them plus his BFF Mariano also doesn't host them.

There's no one checking vaccination status, by the way, so it's all by the honor system. Once inside, you start noticing that easily at least 60% of the patrons here are not masked. Easily. The staff, on the other hand, is not only 100% masked, they are doublemasked. Some are doublemasked PLUS faceshield, so we can sort of guess at what they think of this.

Now, I don't want to start a whole thing about whether or not this place is caught in a timeloop where it's perpetually Spring 2021, or debate whether the omicron variant is even a real thing invented by Bill Gates, or whether or not this is some generations old payback for the blankets, or question anyone's fight for freedumb. I'm just saying, if you are into gambling but masks not so much, this is definitely the place for you.

The employees are forced to wear masks. As for the patrons, there are more people wearing masks now then there were in August/ Sept.

According to their website, like their rule for patrons, only unvaccinated team members are required to wear masks. Regardless, I think doublemasking is a personal choice, so a quick survey of that situation could be revealing.

This would require Mohegan’s suits who haven’t stepped foot inside the poker room to be progressive and forward thinking. I’ll be right here so let me know when that happens lol. If isn’t the PRM it is above their heads which is why he’s able to do his work in smaller rooms without facing off against the corporate red tape.

A buddy of mine works in TGs and they were being force to mask up. I haven’t talked to him about it lately so I guess that’s not the case anymore. My bad
