Example: The collection for the 1PM Jackpot will occur from the hours of 10am-1pm. After 1PM the amount of the Jackpot shall be announced. The Jackpot will be awarded after 1PM to the highest hand which meets all Jackpot qualifications between the hours of 10AM & 1PM.
Jackpots may be cancelled during holidays and other special events.
The following are the real money (non-tournament), games that qualify for the High Hand Jackpot:
Texas Hold’em limits: 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 5-10, 6-12, 9-18, & 10-20
No Limit Texas Hold’em: 1-2, 2-5
Seven card Stud (High Only): 1-3, 1-5, 5-10, & 10-20
Conditions applicable to Mohegan Sun’s High Hand Jackpot
• Jackpot Contribution will be collected only if the hand is dealt on a Jackpot Table to 5 or more players and rake is collected from the hand.
• The Jackpot Contribution is collected from the pot as soon as the pot reaches $20.00
• Jackpot contribution is collected only once during the hand and the value of the jackpot contribution is $1.00.
• The jackpot contribution collected on any jackpot table shall be clearly displayed on the table sign.
• 100 % of these contributions are added to the Jackpot until the close of that particular Jackpot period. The total amount of the Jackpot will be awarded to the high hand(s) for that particular Jackpot period.
To Qualify for the High Hand Jackpot
• 5 or more players must be dealt into the hand.
• In Texas Hold’em the winning hand must include both the hole cards. In the event that the High Hand is a Four-of-a-Kind, the two hole cards must be a pocket pair.
• The hand must be raked and jackpot contribution collected from the hand in order for the hand to qualify for the HHJP.
• In the event that the same two or more qualifying Jackpot hands are hit within the same qualifying period, the Jackpot shall be divided evenly among all of the equal high hands.
• Players must play their hands independently and cannot tell opponents how to act or reveal their hand to other players. Violations will disqualify the hand for the Jackpot.
• Players must have a Mohegan Sun Player’s Club card for his/her hand to qualify.
