Sign up for a players card before going to the poker room. You'll have enough to eat something before heading out if you play for a few hours.

I'd like to know whether MS contacted 2+2 about this. It will help direct my response to a perceived loss of good information.

I highly doubt it. Too much trouble for MS. It MS had a problem, they would just tell there employees to "Stop posting about your job on the internet or else...."

The former day shift woman that worked at the podium, is now a dealer. Good for her, she was really good at her job; she deserves it. I go there every other weekend and she knew my initials. (I'm old, fat, bald guy - bye the way)

Anyway, I start a 1/2 PLO list at 11 AM on Saturday. It only got announced one time during day shift - "starting an interest list for 1-2 PLO" -- so I know there's some new people working at the podium - I HoPe they work this out soon.

The now dealer - ex-podium worker would promote every game every half hour - Open seats for this and this ..... We have interest list for this and this... This would help get those odd ball games started. I know this will get fixed. So please get those new people at the podium trained.

The swing shift was really pimpin' that 5-10 LHE w/ a kill --- That game wont go -- those jabronis need 9 people sitting down to start a game

I like the high hand jackpot, but I still not sure if 2-5 NL should be included.

I'm not sure you're getting to get many fish playing 1/2 PLO if the minimum BI is $300.

IMO, if you want to get it going, I'd talk to the room management about running some classes, with yourself teaching it if necessary free of charge to them. I think if some action players actually learned a little about it, they'd much rather limp in PLO with 4 cards than limp in NL with 2 cards.

I want to note that what Paulie posted reflected extremely well on the management of the poker room. If they punished him, that would reflect extremely poorly on them.

I for one, would be pissed off if he was punished in any way.

Attention!!! Attention!!!.....to all 7- stud players........

Mohegan Sun has now introduced 15-30 7 stud as a daily game they had 2 games of it running I believe $3 an hour plus lounge passes... They had 2 games and in my opinion that will only lead to more games I can definitly see the 20-40 lhe and other games shift over here....

Anybody have any take on this my question is with foxwoods cutting back the comps why do people insist on playing in that dungeon...

I just found it sad that a $60 stack would play all in, get felted & leave the table short players, without any real money @ risk, it's just gambling!

Just because the buy in is 60-300 for a 1-2 PLO game, that doesn't mean it won't attract people and it also doesn't mean there will be good pots.

I would personally play 1-2 PLO and buy in for 300, then re-load once or twice if necessary as opposed to playing 2-5 PLO which gets BIG! with one buy in of like 800.

Seriously doubt that, but the 10th worst player in the world will win at a table that consists of the first through 9th worst.

The TUESDAY 9am tournament is a RE-ENTER tournament. NOT a RE-BUY tournament. If you get knocked out in the 1st 2 levels....you may RE-ENTER at a different table/seat if one is available.

I caught quads at around 8 pm Friday.

The dealer told me that Royal Flush the only High Hand Jackpot.

On the Mohegan website, Quads are considered High Hand Jackpot?

"In the event that the High Hand is a Four-of-a-Kind, the two hole cards must be a pocket pair." (http://www.mohegansun.com/playing/poker.html)

Usually high hand jackpots (at least on the east coast) are for the best high hand for a set period of time. So over a 5 hour time period, it might have been that there was already a straight flush, and a royal was now the high hand qualifier.

Though I do not know for sure how Mohegan exactly runs their high hand.

this is correct - they go in blocks ..the posts above are saying some of the time periods...im not sure if its currently 4 or 5 hour

but they announce it over the speaker..

you have to use both of your hole cards-

And if you are going for quads, you have to have a pair for your hole cards. Last weekend, it was over a 3 hour period.

I had pocket pair and flopped the quads.

I asked the dealer if that was a High Hand Jackpot and he said, "only royal flush"
