I haven't been to FW yet to play poker, and I have nothing personally against the place - but the MS dealers openly dis FW any time someone brings it up. I understand it is to their advantage to keep people in the MS room, giving them tokes, but I was still a little shocked to hear how blatantly some of the dealers disparage FW.

I found that to be the rumor most often told, so for me thats good enough to be true.

Of course true, but I've never heard one of them say a single negative thing re FW. I also haven't heard FW dealers (a lot of who play a MS for the same reason) say anything negative re MS. (Professional courtesy?)
A lot of players do have a lot to say, but the general message is that the MS dealers and floors are improving rapidly.

Does anyone know if 5/10 or 10/20 NL will run during the tournament week at mohegan? (i.e. from monday to thursday). Thanks.

I played last night in the 80 satalite for a seat in the 330 super for the main event. Before we started I asked the floor if the line was a betting line and he said yes. I then asked if I cut chips over the line would whatever was in my hand be considered a bet ? He said no and then maybe. I said is it a betting line or not? He said yes again but you could cut chips over the line as long as u did it fast and nobody called you on it. There should be one rule, either it is a betting line or it isnt. Bad news, I came in 18th and they were giving 15 seats.

If you go over the line with chips you must make a bet, you can't check over the line. You can cut out your bet from chips in your hand, you are not required to place all the chips in your hand as the bet.

Then why would they call it a betting line?

Maybe 1 5/10 game if you are lucky. Like usual you will have two to four 2/5 games going...one 1/5 stud...a few low lhe games...1 or 2 high lhe games and of course about 20 1/2 games. Nothing ever changes there.

I'm going back up tonight to get raked over the coals by loosey-goosey 2/4 LHE players. MS is the only place I haven't been able to kill in 2/4. I'm starting to get irritated, but now look at it as a challenge. I WILL beat UTG's 94o tonight. I WILL.

Would it be better for me to just take a taxi/limo/shuttle to foxwoods after i bust the tournament to play in bigger games during the week?

If the action is weak just call over to Foxwoods Poker Room and see what games they are running. You never know because of the tournaments they might be getting some bigger action games at Mohegan.

Yes, and I think I apply the basic fundamentals for starting hands and position. I'm still not near proficient with the odds math; however, I can take a look at the pot size, the board, my cards, and (usually) put others on a range to make informative enough decisions about play - at least for 2/4 LHE.

Last night for instance, I was down $100 and manged to get back to $70 by the time I left - the juiciest time around 1am. I made two bad plays which probably cost me the other $30, and lost about $100 to hands like my flopped set of Kings (which I raised pre OTB and bet at all the way) to a rivered club flush (lady had pocket 8cXx). It happens. The only other casino I played at I was used to winning 50-75BB a night so maybe I'm just spoiled or card dead or not adjusting to this crew of regs and fish. Although those were KILL games at the other place, and that definitely made a difference to my bottom line.

I'll re-read SSHE again this weekend to make sure I'm not making any obvious leaks.
