Thanks. Where do I find your blog? Very cool to get a response from a poker legend. I'm a very part time player but a longtime reader of Cardplayer and poker lit, and very aware of who you are.

Found it. Restaurant references particularly valuable.

Made it to Missoula. Only stayed downtown Oxford doesn't have poker anymore that I could see. Stockman's had a game on the Thursday night I was there, but it only starts at 10 pm. One table of 1-2 PLHE. Mostly younger players, most we had at table was 7. Couple guys playing really short stacks, I.e $20.

I’m about halfway into a road trip with the plan to camp in Yellowstone for a couple of weeks.

Before I do, the hope was to find a poker session that gives me the best chance to win/lose the cost of this trip (~$3K) in a session. $2/$5 would be nice, with a straddle better, $5/$10 perfect.

Sounds like that might be tough to find in Montana? Maybe Stockman’s in Missoula?

Even if I’ll struggle to find that sort of game, I’d be especially interested to hear if there are any good, consistent games in or around Bozeman. I think that’s where I’m going to setup shop for a few days.
