It folded all the way around to the BB and they still raked $2 out of his $5.

Trust me, you guys have it good up there and anyone who thinks $1/$2 isnt profitable under these conditions needs to get better at poker.
Do we have it good, or do you have it bad? There's a difference.

That's music to my ears. My MLife Pearl expires at the end of next month, so I also might try to finagle a one year extension. Although... I don't think I ever bothered getting the physical gold Foxwoods card, because why would I ever need that? Oops.

Has anyone successfully tier matched and it is showing online? I was hoping after a couple days it would change, but after doing tier match saturday my online account still says sapphire. Not sure if it will just take some time, or if I should go to the rewards desk again

Since there is no bet line have dealers been calling bets once player moves forward with chips, when dropped, or as I suspect inconsistently?

I can't speak for this specific property or Mlife in general, but for Caesars Total Rewards the tier match there can take anywhere from several days to a month for the system to fully process the upgrade. It would not surprise me if it were similar here.

Should always be forward motion. People mess around too much
Ive been told at the CT casinos that the bet line is not official anyway, that its just a “guideline” but im sure others have probably experienced different.
Think the problem is when cutting out chips it becomes subjective, but everyone should know how to clearly motion a bet vs cut out chips. Like I said people mess around too much

I 100% agree with you concerning forward motion. Foxwoods is way too lenient with this. No need to bring 80 in chips forward to bet 25.

Btw. No one chip rule here. Dealer said that they want to show the action for the cameras, so you can't call an all in with the single symbolic chip, or announce all in and toss one chip in as a placeholder.

Monday night I played 1 1/2 hours of poker and 1 1/2 of table games and slots. Today I got an offer for two free nights in September.

Me too. Between innocent mistakes and angling a strict rule saying forward motion means bet of whatever is in your hand is best.

Maybe it’s paranoia but I played here again after opening day and I don’t know if was the multiple individuals in visible ankle bracelets or the “gentlemen” with teardrop tats staring at my chips like he would kill his mother for them as I waited for the window to cash me out but the uneasy feeling had me missing Mohegan.

Yes I stereotype people who wear ankle bracelets as felons.

I have no bias and it’s nothing racial, just an honest comment. I’ve been to Mohegan several hundred times and the average gambler in Uncasville is way more OMC than OG

All that aside, the 2/5 game was soft both times I’ve been there and I’ll keep heading back

Well, Springfield ain’t Uncasville by a long shot. This convinced me to use valet parking.

Tier match srill hasn't shown online which is annoying since I'm going to Borgata in a couple weeks. Also my email and pass I use to log into m life Borgata isn't working for the MGM Springfield website.... Also would like to know if this tier match ends next month and 13 months. Thanks.

It was answered upthread that it's 13 months.

Also I'm not surprised by the Borgata user/pass not working. Borgata seems to be the black sheep of the Mlife family. People in the Borgata thread are always complaining how their systems are linked but not quite merged yet... has to do with being converted to Mlife vs being that way from the start.

You're correct! Long time no see. Maybe I'll catch you at a Pai Gow table one of these days. Pretty interesting over here. Table game floors aren't too sharp. I demanded to speak to the gaming commission when I was told I needed to bet the fortune to wager the $5 progressive. After 3 floors, a few calls upstairs, reviewing textbooks, it was decided that side-bets are optional and not mandatory. Also had to go through same scenario when I asked to bank. Even seen some dealers paying out bonuses by way too much.

As far as tier matching, the rewards staff are the most gullible. You can show them your cousins library card and still get platinum if you pitch it right. These early days are pretty interesting, not sure how long till all the staff get on track.

Actually you can have an ankle bracelet and not be a felon just means your on probation or parole
