Can someone explain (not in crayon) what the hot seat promotion is? I'll be going here in a few weeks.

They draw a random table/seat. Specific seat gets the higher amount, each of the other seats at that table get the lower amount.

The new gray felt looks to be on 7-8 tables closest to the cage. I would assume the rest will be going gray shortly, or those are going to be just tournament tables?

Tournaments announced last night and up on bravo this morning. Sun-tue starting 11/18. Sunday morning tournament is a $150 5k guarantee green chip bounty.

I heard yes, all tables are going gray.

The story on the red felt I heard: originally the tables were orange with ochre border, matching the dealer shirts. A higher up came in shortly before opening and nixed them. They had red in storage.

They will be gray-brown soon if they don't keep up with the vacuuming. It's like Bally's AC level grime.

And that Sunday could be quite fun if it's populated by the 1/2 regs.

Played 3/6 LHE here yesterday, good atmosphere; better than FW and MUCH better than TR. I would definitely go here again as it is about the same distance for me to the CT casinos and I don't like TR at all. Didn't find the casino any shadier than others I have been to. Will see what happens when Encore opens in summer 2019.

Caveat: the valet parking is not free for low rollers like me. Not sure level of play to get free valet parking.

Bill's diner has some pretty good food for a casino food court. Tried Rose's but it was an hour wait and I had a 2 hour ride home, so that was a no go.

To the lady on my right in the 1 seat and guy on my right in the 3 seat - didn't catch your 2P2 names, but good to play with you both. I'm sure we will meet again.

Back in the early days of 2+2, we had a password to meet/greet each other at a poker table without tipping off the fish that we were serious students of the game who read books and discussed strategy on the internet.

I have found that 2+2ers are either totally open about who they are or freakishly secretive about their true identities. I have always been open concerning who I am and have met some great people from here. Some of my closest friends, I have met as a result of this forum.

I've had a couple and thought they were all great. Not off the dock in Maine fresh, but pretty decent serving size for the price.

Anybody know if the hot seat is running on Thanksgiving, nothing showing on Bravo?
