Just a general statement, MGM is a mask mandated property. Probably coming from the state.

If wearing a mask is a deal breaker for you, I'd suggest playing elsewhere.

The city of Springfield has a mask mandate in place until 11/1. At that time they will review and amend accordingly. There is no state mandate in place. That being said, I wouldn’t look for it to be lifted at that time.

Bravo is saying there will be 13 tables, down from 23. Interested in seeing if they are going to go with 1/3 over 1/2.

13 tables is correct, and the room will be open 11am-3am daily.

As far as I know, nothing is changing regarding stakes and buy-in limits. It will still be 1/2, 100-500 max, etc.

I went yesterday, and it's basically exactly the same as before... same staff, same games, same action, same players, just a bit smaller.

Masks mandatory this weekend, but will be no longer required as of Monday.

Highly recommended!

I've been keeping a close eye on bravo. Yesterday lines were a bit much but today it seems in line with the amount of tables they have. I'll probably get there in two weeks.

Let’s re-establish the 2/2 PLO as a regular game! Seems it hasn’t gone yet (per my Bravo stalking). Hopefully they add more tables sooner than later. So painful to see a room full of NL games with a full PLO list and no available tables/dealers to call it. Bring back the great game!

Any color on the PLO games? Looks,like they’ve gotten 5-5 going, and tonight I see a 5-5 NL/PL mix. I don’t see any of this in the first post -

- What are the buyins for 5-5 and 2-2?
- Is 2-2 a $5 bring in?
- are there frequent straddles?

I hope to make it up there soon. Thanks!

At this time, 2/5 is always 9 handed but 1/2 is only 9 handed during the week. At weekends it's 10 handed to help with the extra demand I believe.

What's Friday fall into? Usually heavy demand Friday nights and I do on occasion look to play.

Could go to NH or there.

I’ve made the trip to Springfield twice over the last couple of weeks. As someone that never played there pre-COVID I have nothing but good things to say. I was actually surprised to see how pleasant the players were.

One question though… I have about 11 hours of play, but have no “points” showing in my account. Does poker qualify for comp points?

You earn $2 per hour at 1/2 and $3 at 2/5.

The points are on a separate system to the main M-Life system and you need to see floor to find out how many you have and to redeem them.

The rewards system is the worst thing about MGM spfld
