their policy about dealers not being able to yell "seat open" in the 2/5+ to get a player from the must move is kind of ridiculous. I personally prefer shorter games, but when all the recs complain and decide to pick up themselves, it really starts a bad chain reaction. Maybe im just salty because i ended the session getting stacked KK vs AA.

This place need a cocktail button, because I've never seen a server come by less than 90 minutes apart. Relatively small sample size, but still frustrating.

They really do need more cocktail waitresses. I don't think it's an issue of them being slow but they get the entire poker room and slots at the same time.

Also, I don't want to be hearing seat open all night. I've seen them understaffed on a Sunday night and floor guy had to it all by himself, so may have been a situation like that. (I personally never seen an issue on a Saturday or Friday tho)

I guess what I'm saying, more staff needed here.

Heh, just met a guy from DC the other day, and his first words about MGM National Harbor were "You'll go 90 minutes without seeing a cocktail waitress..."

Have you been following the discussion? It's what we have been talking about in the posts leading up to his. He was making a point that this is an MGM problem, notes Springfield exclusive problem.

Does anyone know what they'll match? I have a variety of Hotel, Casino, Car Rental, Airline, etc... statuses. I tried calling them but they don't give you any info over the phone. Typical. Thanks in advance.

Nice. I have Caesars (formerly Total Rewards Diamond) and hopefully they'll match that. They didn't do that for me in Las Vegas MGM (they even said they'll do it for new MGM card holders opening a card that day but not for existing customers).

Las Vegas MGM MLife office gave me a brochure with a variety of hotel, car rental, cruise line, etc... status programs that they'll match zero casinos in there.

"Not this month..We’re reevaluating our tournament schedule and making some changes."

Do they ever run limit games that are 5/10 and above? Looked like when they first opened they had a few for the first couple months but when I looked on Bravo looks like just 3/6?

There are 3 large field events scheduled for 3 consecutive weekends in July, starting on the 12th, with escalating buy-ins.

No, there aren't ever any limit games above 3-6. They have no issues with starting a list, but it never gets any traction.

Good to see people still commenting with Encore opening. 2/5 game and PLO games were quite good here. I use to be a poker play who’s now just a guy that plays cards every so often. Only so many nice weather days here in New England so I limit my card room activities from Octoberish to March.

Was debating coming here Saturday for the 50k or driving to Canada for a 100k

It’s only a 90 min drive here so I’d prefer to stay closer, but any idea or thoughts on turnout for this weekend? Is it realistic to see 100k hit for this tourney or is that wishful thinking.

I’ve only been here once and am not aware of the turnout that’s happened thus far.
