I do not tend to look at things as either bad or good, but generally a combination of the two depending on goals and perspective. I see little utility in such concrete thinking.
My point here was, stakes shouldn’t matter.
Whether is 1/2NL or 200/400
I’ve had very well known names in the poker world joke around with me as a dealer and I’ve cracked jokes back. I’ve had the grandfather of poker sit with me on a dead game, and we chatted the whole down and gave him a deck, showed me all the cheating slight of hand tricks that people used to do when games were player dealt.
A good dealer is a good dealer, period.
Robots don’t speak, robots aren’t able to crack a joke here and there and keep the fish still having fun while losing to grinders.
I understand there’s a fine line, and a good dealer recognizes that line and doesn’t cross it (while a fun game, still enforce rules and keep the game clean)
A clean well dealt game can still fun.
MAKE POKER FUN AGAIN
My new campaign, and I’m sticking to it.
Rant over.
