So in the poker room itself they have Snacks which is just a grab and go with burgers pizza etc. But the rest of the casino has some good places (Ginger, an Asian restaurant, osteria costa, Italian, Tap Sports Bar, Diablo’s Cantina (Mexican), a steakhouse (voltaggios). I have had good meals at all of them though the first two are my usual go to. There is also a food court with a variety of stuff but I am less familiar with it. It’s a casino so expect casino prices but you can check out the menus online,

the Crabcake platter at the food court is like $25 as of last year.
Don't do the chicken fingers. It's SUPER salty. (tried it twice a few months apart.)

If you're paying cash, then I would suggest Pho for around the same $25 price point.
(pho place requires 2x if using comps )

If you are aged 50 or over, on Wednesdays the food and beverages at the food court (National Market) are 50% off.

So I was playing at Live yesterday and someone mentioned there’s a 10/20 mixed game that runs at MGM that includes Badeucy. This seems… too good to be true, but if it is real, when does it run?

My understanding is there is a 20/40 that runs Wednesdays and 50/100 mix Fridays. Not sure about a 10/20 game. Here's the full list of games (for 20/40) as I understand:
Badacey
Badugi
Big O (400 cap)
2-7 Razz
Badeucy
Stud8
PLO (400 cap)
2-7 Triple Draw
Omaha 8
2-7 Single Draw (400 cap)

Great mix imo. I'm coming in to play it for the 1st time from NC in a couple weeks.

Wow, holy ****. I didn’t even know those games were approved here.

Ok, follow-up. I read that MGM matches Hyatt loyalty status. Anyone have any advice on how to go about doing that?

Go downstairs for pizza. It was decent and less outrageously priced.

Barely over 50 so this was the first “senior” discount I’ve ever gotten somewhere (Wednesdays only).

The chicken sandwich at snacks is really good. Tofu bowl for vegetarians.

Everything has been down since yesterday due to a cyberattack (bravo, comps, ATMs, etc.). https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/...s/70828503007/

Poker room is still open though.

It is 9:45 am Wednesday and Bravo is still down. If the room is still open, are the promotions running or are they also down? And what about the comps?

I hope comps didn't get wiped out. I had about $350 I was saving up to take my family to Voltaggio Bros.

Pretty unbelievable Bravo is still down. I haven't been to the room - how are they managing wait lists?

Bravo works in the room. Not sure if you’re aware the entire company is dealing with a massive cyber attack right now. They are doing pretty well all things considered.

Can we get these hot seat promo drawings not to doxx everyone in the room during the drawing? I know mgm doesn’t care about anyone’s information ever but can’t that be done off-screen? Also, do we need the full name and player ID for the winner to endlessly stay up on the screen? Maybe just first name?

Has there been a mass exodus of staff both at mgmnh and corporate, so it’s only really inexperienced staff left?

Anyone know if you can still accrue and use comps with the Bravo down? Do they have an ETA for Bravo to be back up?

Follow Home Robbery + Non-Contact Shooting in Dunn Loring.

~2230: A man was followed from MGM Grand in Oxon Hill to his Dunn Loring home, where another man approached him, fired a pistol, and stole his winnings. The suspect and a getaway driver fled in a vehicle. Helo assisted.

Does anyone know the cost of a safety deposit box in the poker room?

I've heard that you can basically open an account and keep money in there, and take it out as needed. No cost, not the same thing as a safety deposit box. Has anyone done this? Can you talk about how it works?

It was $100 non-refundable last I checked. You put your chips or whatever you want into the box using a private entrance/space next to the cage. They give you a key. You have to access the box every so often or they give it away so someone else.

Given the size of the casino garage and its many floors, it amazes me that they can locate his car and maneuver their vehicle in time to follow him home.
