I think 5/5 4 card runs at live more regularly and 5/5 5 card is hit or miss at mgm.

that's an odd rule that's probably going to cause headaches for the supervisors.
someone at 1/3 see people eating at the table so he tries to eat at the table. supervisor has to step in.

do this x1000 for all the low level players, though i suspect dealers and players will also say something to that player.
and over time, word will get out that eating is only for timed games

FWIW someone was eating at my 1/3 table the other day and no one said a word. It took a lot of restraint for me not to say anything cause nothing tilts me more then someone touching the cards after licking bbq sauce off their fingers.

I saw the anniversary promotion late, how was it for the folks who played Wednesday night through the end or anything in between?

Saw 500ish wait list all day.....who the f would drive to a casino seeing that.

The promo yesterday was great. I made hundreds of dollars in Sklansky bucks and even got myself a sklansky pizza to reward myself.

One of my friends got there at 9am and didn’t get a seat until 4pm

Got there at 1am and got a 2/5 seat at 8am, called for 1/3 at noon, then left for plo because the promo wasn’t that good anyway. Many would have preferred lucky table from what I overheard.

I got there at 1am and was on a table within 15 minutes. My friend got there at 130 and he didn't get on until 7am or something like that because they had frozen the list.

Never won any drawings but the action was insane and people started misreading the board after about the 12th hour. I'll definitely do it again next year

I got there at 2:45. When I walked in, I saw the 1/3 list was at 99, so I must have been #100. When they opened a bunch of tables at 8:00, I finally saw my name make it to the “short list” screen. I was #11 at that point. I moved up to #9 about three hours later. I finally left at 11:30 am. Never got a seat. Walking out, I noticed a few people who had arrived after me who were seated at games.

It was a madhouse, but they definitely need a better way to handle this.

The USB charging stations at the tables are mostly out of order. This wasn’t always a problem. Is there a plan to replace / repair them? Thanks!

precovid borgata briefly had some dumbass rule where on one side of the room you were allowed to eat (where the higher games tended to be but not just the high limit room) and one side you couldnt. so if a 1/2 nl game happened to open on a busy day on the side of the room you could eat people would ask the floor if they were sure the savages in 1/2 nl would be able to handle eating without getting food all over the table and cards.

This question is better directed to the mdl forum. I don’t really play enough 4card to know. 4 card does not run at mgm though.

Can we somehow get 10-handed 1/3nl tables to help with wait times? Currently there are 80 on a frozen list, meanwhile games are 6/7 handed, fun players are silently miserable and “regs” are whining at an unsustainable rate. Getting real bad night club vibes with the wait list, I realize this specific incident is due to holidays with dealers calling in but this is an issue all the time.

Where did that cheating scandal take place? Sounds like mainly the 1-2-5 game?

Sorry to resurface it, have not looked at 2+2 in a few. Just wanted to make sure there was no pros running signals in my 1/3 games.

Doubt it would be the good pros signaling...maybe the bad/broke ones.
