LOL, FOH with this nonsense, what kind of hypersensitive 12 year old do they have running their Twitter account? Oh damn, I guess I cant see their overagressive meme use anymore.
What were the exact words you used? Because wow that's completely ridiculous.

It was an admittedly smart ass comment a few weeks back - but absolutely nothing rude at all.

Whatever, I got over it. I just found it childish.

BTW if anyone is interested in the NL/PLO mix game, I will try to get the list started tomorrow early afternoon.

But will it actually run? Someone mentioned 14-15 people on the list last week but they never opened a table. With the last flop it promo for July (and better payouts for the gettable hands like flushes and boats) the room is going to be absolutely crazy tomorrow all day.

They probably thought it was childish too, thus the ban for trolling.

Any changes to the COVID protocols (masks, 8 handed, etc)?

Looks like governments (fed, state) could bring COVID restrictions back.

Last time I was there in June masks were optional. We were playing 8 handed.

No changes so far. MD doesn’t have a mask mandate, just DC as it stands now.

In addition the chip runners come with these ridiculous chip denomination requests and cut to the front of the line.

I think the solution would be:
1. To let the floor that manages the tournament should accept the tournament entries or reentries.
2. Have a chip cart at the front and do the chip runner transaction through them.
3. Have more staff for the first three hours of tournaments.
1) does mgm allow floors to take cash for tournys?
2) yes, the brush used to have chips to sell in the past
3) poker has no control over the cage. also, lack of cashiers is happening at other mgm properties.
read that borgata sometimes doesnt even have a cashier in the poker room during daylight times

That’s why I was indicating it as a solution!

Hey Jelly.

We couldn’t yesterday but we are gonna be there at 2pm today to get it going and continue to try and find a day that works best for everyone.

Is this the HORSE+ deuce mix or the mix that ran last Wed with all the draw games?

Strictly THORSE like it was when me and my friend started it a couple years ago.

The game that ran last weekend, while did have some of the same players was mostly for a friend from what I gather, I wasn’t there to play last week.

My intent for this game, while fun, is a good stepping stone to 20/40 mix. If everyone agrees then I think it’s fine to add Badugi sometimes or in place of LHE but I’ll personally never push for the 8/16 game.

Wish I could. About to head into work for the night. Ended up playing some 1/3 and had a decent night. Great table. In for 500, out with about 1200.

Poker room is closed this morning. They lost power to all cameras or something and shut down at 6am. Idk when it will reopen.

I am just guessing but this was likely the last of several or more which they considered harassment.
