Seriously, I don't know why people get so easily worked up. It's odd.

It’s a Monday at 9 am, so not too surprising they aren’t full spread yet.

Curious the logic behind making the only possible entrance to the poker room the one tiny, hidden elevator in the center of the casino floor that everyone needs to pack into? The escalator being closed gives the impression the poker room isn't even open right now.

Random stuff:

- Some dealers are unsure if the rake reductions per person are automatic or need to be requested by player.
- Shake Shack and Saigon are the only 2 food options in the whole casino (and both are using a 2:1 comp ratio meaning $2 comp dollars equals $1 to be spent there)
- After 2 missed blind buttons, the 1st person walking gets 20 minutes before being picked up. Same rule applies for the 2nd person, but they only get 10 minutes after the 2nd missed big blind.
- Table changes and seat changes aren't permitted. I really hope this is very temporary as MDL has proven a system that works already (using a "Clean Team" anytime a seat is vacated).

No logic involved. The escalator made the decision for us at about 7:30 AM when it wouldn’t restart. We are actively working on the fix. Rake reductions are automatic. Correct on the comps. Correct on the seating. We will see what develops on the seat changes.

Thanks Johnny. Do you know if all the other food places will also be following suit and going with the 2:1 comp ratio when they eventually reopen?

The poker room has had 46 poker tables. Now that the poker tables have been adjusted to a reasonable distance from each other, which should have happened when this room first opened, how many poker tables are in the room now?

No. Only the outlets we don’t own. All others will be 1:1.

34. 30 have plexiglass. At some point, some/all of the other tables will come back.

Of course. You’re putting profit in front of the comfort and safety of your customers.

Along with all of the tables being jammed together, those little tables that are scattered in between the poker tables really cause problems.

Why Johnny even tries I dont know. Its actually the customers and demand that will determine the amount of tables eventually used. Stay off the court if you're scared of the ball.

Maybe a neutral third party (fire inspector) should decide if 46 tables are too many tables in the space.

They did. We passed. We are inspected at least twice a year. And the configuration of the room hasn’t changed. I would love more space between the tables, but I also have to meet demand. It’s a fine line.

We removed 12 tables from the room. Doesn’t that kinda go against “putting profit ahead of comfort and safety?”

Grow up I can promise you the city or state has approved the tables and configure.

I am willing to bet you want to walk up, take the last seat to fill the game you want to play and it is always your favorite seat and you would still complain there were too many or too few tables, the stakes are wrong the rake is too high etc. I am far from a major fan of NH or even JG but customers like you are the exception to the adage that the customer is always right.

If you have somewhere to put them, maybe the slot machines in the back of the room could be moved elsewhere, and poker tables could be put there, leaving enough space between the tables so that people could easily move around.

As someone who can't see the board from the 2 corner seats on each side, please reconsider your changing seats rule. It makes playing so much more difficult for me, and many other with poor eye sight. Thank you!
