Honestly, seems not to be going fine for a major tourney series.

With that said, they prob thought (just a guess) they were a little little light on the opener though obviously hit the guarantee...running opposite Parx Big Stax 300 did them no favors. Having players get shut out of some of the more popular flights due to capacity issues seems like not a great look but sometimes demand is tricky to forecast. Some dealers are great, some are very green (except they were here in previous series) so I don't understand how they were hired to do downs again this year...I'd rather a quick efficient dealer, but I'll take one that gets the pot right and can correctly read the tabled cards (I'm talking hold'em not mix)...

Maybe some structure tweaks, but overall not a bad series IMO..

Also @Johnny Grooms random question, If a dealer accidentally exposes 7th street for one player, the new TDA says that the street is dealt as normal and the player with the exposed card has his card "replaced"... does replaced mean the next card off the deck or is his exposed card shuffled back in?

Re: kimoser22

I’m guessing that the player should get the next card off the deck after all of the cards are dealt.

That was one interpretation, but then the opponent would have that extra small piece of info in stud games (where theoretically your supposed to be remembering dead cards). It seems like a similar situation to a pre-mature river

But you would also have that extra info. It works both ways, and is therefore fair. Like you said, it's like a premature river.

I believe that this situation should be handled the same way that it is taken care of in NLHE.

just seems unnecessary when you can shuffle it back in.

I guess the thinking is that it would be unfair if the first player has his card exposed and the second player has his card face down then if the first player gets a shuffled card the first player still knows the second player cant have the card and not vice versa..

If any one plays video poker - all the machines in the casino got a major downgrade. They used to have some decent ones in the High stakes but now they are not worth playing anymore. I was going for platinum - and half way there but this put a nail in the coffin.

Some would argue they were never worth playing.

I ordered a grilled cheese and a fruit cup at the table. 1 hr 35 min later the food server comes back and notifies me they don't have grilled cheese. I ask to cancel thrle fruit cup. She then asks me if I want to get a refund. No, I want to pay for my imaginary meal.

Sorry guy. I ordered 12 grilled cheeses. She was right behind me in line. I offered to give her one of them, but they said rules are rules. If it makes you feel any better, I've been in the far right stall since. Should have gone with the fruit cup. Darn.

They just announced no new cash tables opening until 4 PM. There’s a shortage of dealers because of the Chance For Life charity tournament and a couple dozen dealers called off.

There are only nine tables of 1-3 running at Noon on a Saturday with a waitlist of 120+.

Yesterday, a dealer told me that this would occur because of the tournament taking dealers from the cash tables, and because a lot of dealers would be calling in sick today.

This infuriates me more than anything.

My buddy texted me that there are over 180 people on the 1-3 waitlist with something like 30 open tables. What a disaster.

At least junkies thing was advertised and people could plan accordingly. Don't just drop an "oh btw there's a charity tournament today and we don't have any dealers" when it's already too late
