Why is the floor processing the transfer if it unbalances the tables?

(It broke the Thursday night game late night)

When we call the floor to bring back the player the floors response is sorry - it won't happen again, but it continues.

I mean how many table transfers do people need? It just seems like a lot of work for the brush and the players that abuse it are just bum hunting certain players trying to get away from them.

I mean can't people just play where they are sent or if they must transfer, get like 1 or 2 transfers per night?

Because they don't bother to look at the table before doing it? There could be 2 people up walking around but as long as they are in the bravo it looks like the table is balanced.

Other than that I have no idea.

But it is an on going issue especially late night during the week days. Almost always results in the game breaking.

Then unfortunately the tables are not unbalanced. That they are walking doesn’t mean they are not a player at the table. What if they were there but folding every hand. Still not really playing so do you want not count them.

Or look at another way. If there was a new player, could they take the seat of the walkers? If not, then it is not an empty seat and that does not make the table unbalanced.

Part of the problem is the staff never picks up players when they're supposed to, so you may have multiple walkers and in a situation where it should show you as short, it shows you as full.

How do the players who are getting chased by the table changing bunhunters feel? Do they ever quit as a result? I know I would.

I have a hard time believing players actually change tables to bumhunt a player who changed tables to get away from them, i think this is just a myth because people cant understand why someone else might change tables when they personally never move tables. let me share a few reasons people really do move, and its Not to annoy one particular player they think is a sucker. (when i sit, i consider mostly everyone a sucker except me and as easy to win from as anyone else).

1. if im not in one of the 4 end seats, (237 or 8) i move.
2. if my charger isnt working in that seat.
3. to get away from a big stack who just sat on my immediate left when i feel like im being made into the target
4. if im losing heavily and dont want the new table to know im running out of patience

No they are bum hunting. It's very obvious. One time like 3 people racked up as soon as one of the fish was stacked.

So, the wifi in the poker room isnt even on but everywhere else in the casino it works flawlessly. Should we just go to live or the horseshoe if we want to play poker and use the wifi?

when hit, it's not a lucky table drawing for the entire room.
The table that got the high hand automatically wins the lucky table.

It looks like all 3 opportunities usually gets hit in the 1st 15min

Confirmed Monday promo info on bravo is incorrect. It also doesn’t fix the 3rd man walking problem. People just leave the second half of the hour instead of the first.

Just start actually enforcing 3rd man walking instead of empty threats.

The promo on Monday is great. Lot of excitement in the room.

At the same time, it is encouraging people to walk off into oblivion after the three qualifying hands are being hit in the first 15 minutes.

If the idea of MGM is to bring players to the room, then they are successful. But, to make them sit for the whole hour they need to either enforce third man walking (even second man walking) or change the frequency to half hour and cut the promo $’s by half.

Trob, What is wrong with the Monday promo on Bravo?

It’s just poorly written, doesn’t represent what the promo actually is.

Let me take a stab to rephrase it:

Monday High Hand Promo:

Be the first three qualifying hands each hour (for everyone dealt in the hand);

Ace’s Full $100
Quads $200
Straight Flush $300
Royal $500

Promo runs between (9:15 AM - 8:15 PM).

“Be the first three qualifying hands” is nowhere near the best way to explain what is needed to qualify.

Apostrophes are used in contractions to take the places of missing letters, and to show possession. Apostrophes are not used to show when there are more than one of an item.

Or make the promo AAAJJ or better or maybe even quads. Also this promo is most likely to hit at a limit table where people are soft playing each other.

I really like the promo though, just kinda sucks that they all hit within the first 15 minutes of the hour.

i heard a supervisor mention that he'll suggest that the Aces full minimum requirement be changed or outright eliminated. (ie: quads for $200 will be the new minimum)
that way it solves the promo over in 15 min/people walking at 16min mark.

1 of the two 4/8 tables hit like 8 times for a total of $1000+ if you were there the whole time.
at least a couple of times they hit twice in the same hour.

no idea about the other 4/8 table.

Okay this is actually ridiculous...

earlier i look at the bravo, there are two 2/5 tables and ten 1/3s, okay standard whatever... then i look a few hours later... there are three 2/5s and nineteen 1/3s.....

they opened 9 1/3 tables and 1 2/5... and there are 30 people on the 2/5 list???????

what is the reasoning for this, are they trying to kill the 2/5 game? or they just don't GAF?

@poker room staff
