If they are passing an ATM card and using a casino ATM, they are obviously fish. So it’s fine!

A lot of things have not been working correctly in this poker room and casino/hotel. Feedback has been given, but it seems that MGM does not care.

This is unacceptable in any business that values quality. IU wonder if this will be addressed and taken seriously by management.

I would say there is a 0.0% chance this is taken seriously by the dealers or floors - because its not just being ignored, its being encouraged. One floor stood there and laughed at the whole scene, didnt say a word. I've seen this particular floor "in action" before though - and I put that in quotes only because his M.O. seems to be doing absolutely nothing. One particular dealer said "LANGUAGE" to them at one point but then when one of the guys said "are you ******* serious" she said "no, but I have to say that" - and then continued laughing with everyone.

Its fine, will vote with my feet and just not play in the game if they are there.

But I will say this - its odd given that a few weeks ago in the 2/5 game when one guy said F*** after a bad beat, he was given a pretty sharp rebuke from the dealer for his language. Complete contrast to how these two guys in the 5 card game are consistently treated.

Apparently, management is aware of what has been happening, and what is not working.

I strongly request to eliminate one ingredient from the teriyaki bowls ordered from Snacks: furikake.

It is a seasoning thing sprinkled on top and it is one of the worst, acrid smells I’ve ever experienced. A ton of people have complained about the awful smell. Next time you’re in the poker room, smell something awful and you can’t figure out what it is...look around and it’s likely you’ll see a teriyaki bowl nearby.

This isn’t a joke or a troll; the smell really is that bad!

I’m positive the furikake is the culprit. I’ve ordered the bowl several times, requested, “no furikake,” and there is no bad smell.

Played with these guys at 1-2 five card a few times now. Always soft playing each other - which is...fine. But whenever one busts out, they pass money to each other under the table. Chips out of pocket, cash out of pocket or one guy passes the other his ATM card, guy goes to the ATM right near the table, comes back, hands him the card back. I want to be clear from what I've seen - its never money off the table.

I know its not against any rules, just always feels off to me.

Please DM me a specific date and time you were playing, along with the seats these players were playing in. To investigate and handle, I need specific details.

@JohnnyGroomsTD

Can you please have a talk with the food runners and tell them to stop stealing the players’ comps? It has happened to me and other players.

Recently, a regular told me he ordered food downstairs from a specific food runner. After he received his food, he saw the food runner eating something from the same restaurant. He got suspicious so he went to ask the floor what was the amount of his last transaction. Surely enough the transaction was $10 more than it should’ve been. Another guy at the table chimed in that he has noticed his comps balance being lower than it should’ve been after he ordered food from the food runner.

The other day, the same thing happened to me. I ordered food downstairs from the aforementioned food runner. When she brought the food, there was no receipt stapled to the bag (usually there is). In hopes of quelling my concerns, I asked the floor what was the cost of my last transaction. It was $20 more than it should’ve been.

I rarely order food so I’m pretty sure this food runner steals from other players when not from me and the 2 aforementioned players.

Some things you can do:

-Make it a policy for food runners to always include a receipt
-Enable players to check and get their own comps
-Let employees know they will be written up if they’re caught doing this

The $20 in comps stolen from me was not a big deal so I didn’t tell a supervisor. Also, I don’t want to have bad blood with the food runners since they can do something to my food. However, I felt taken for a fool and don’t want this to happen again. I want to be able to order food from food runners without worrying about them stealing my comps.

Please do something about this because this is absolutely unacceptable.

Allowing self-comps directly from cards would eliminate this from happening.

I agree that its absolutely unacceptable. Please DM me your players card number and the day and approximate time you used the comp that you were overcharged for. We will refund the entire cost of the comp to your account. Would also like to know what you ordered to get a look at the receipt.

Stealing is a serious offense. Being written up is meaningless.

If this were to occur, and if there were proof, termination is appropriate.

Oddly enough there was that female dealer a month or so ago was telling me how much theft there had been in the women's locker room - she had just had her wallet stolen. Wallets and stuff getting stolen out of the dealer/staff lockers while they were on their shift. According to her, it was not a one time thing.

Apologies. We made some changes that we thought would fix the issue. It is apparent that it hasn’t. We will reassess.

The no obscene language rule is underenforced. A couple days ago, after receiving an adverse floor ruling a 5/10 regular said "these c*cks*ckers always get their way" (presumably referring to rec players in general) and nothing happened to him. (He also threw his chips across the table, but that's an entirely different matter.) I thought all this would at least get him a 24-hour ban, and perhaps if he wasn't a regular he would have gotten disciplined.

Also, hopefully the AC is working now? It was off last night when I left.

Is there a dealer shortage? Of late it seems that the lines are often very long due to a lack of dealers.

Dealer shortage at the tournament today too. Over 10 empty tables with over 190 alternates so makes me think there was a significant number of dealers that called out sick. They were pulling in dealers from the pits to deal the tournament. Cash games were no different. Feel bad for the recreational players that play poker once a year and this was their experience.
